3. BACKGROUND
Student Information System (SMP) was developed in 1994 and implemented in
stages from semester 1 session 1995/96.
Full implementation of the SMP for an undergraduate student was initiated in
semester II of the session 1996/97 and has expanded its use include graduate
students in the first semester session 1997/98.
SMP is the main system used by the university in the daily work in matters
relating to the students.
This information can be access and update as needed by the SMP user to
support daily activities.
Various items delivered via the Student Information System (SMP) to facilitate
students and academic staff.
4. SYSTEM OBJECTIVE
1) To find out whether the use of the
system achieved within 20 minutes.
2) To find out whether the Internet
access such as cable networks to surf
the internet can be used to surf the SMP
Web.

proactive and user friendly.

- If the identity and the password is known, a lot of

individuals.
-If the password is forgotten or lost, the student must
show proof of payment of a fine of $ 3.00 from the
Treasury Department and the Student Card. The
students are required to present themselves for the
NPP.

A support system to the student information
system designed for students to register for
courses and so on.
Students and academic staff need to complete
identification and password that was set aside by
the system.

10. RECOMMENDATION
Ensuring accessible system anywhere including Internet
access through a cable internet connection.
The continuity between the two systems between IFolio
and Student Development System should be improved.
The delivery date information not available to the students
as part of the junior calendar is too small and needs to be
upgraded in line with the technology revolution.
