2. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Audience feedback is essential because it determine whether you have successfully targeted your specified audience, resulting to the product selling achievable well. I asked a variety of questions exploring whether an audience or disliked my product and from this, I was able to gather an outlook of successfulness for it. Finding out the pros and cons of all the products benefits the future of the products. It allows us to know what we did well and what we could improve. If the video promoted the song well and did it justice or was it not suitable and the video could’ve been better? Also to see if the UK hip hop conventions were applied well making it likeable to music lovers of this genre.

3. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? As our target audience was 16+ mixed genders, from different ethnic and music backgrounds i used a representative random sample of this. I gathered a group of sixth formers/college students from different backgrounds and different music genre listeners. 10 males and 10 females. Individually i made them look at all the text products, i played them the song and then showed them our music video. I played them the song first to hear their initial reaction to the song and then their view of it post watching the video. I showed them the text products first to see if it was appealing or interesting to them. I asked a few questions to sum up comments. I then put it in a table shown on the next page:

6. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Overall , it was clear that everyone had a range of view and it was aimed well at the target audience however, the hip hop/ grime music lovers, seemed to be more interested in the products and also very judgemental at the same time. It was liked a lot and disliked too. It was classed as hip hop, grime or rap. This shows that the conventions of the video was a representation of the right genre. Overall i feel that the audience feedback was good, however i feel that the sample was too big and ranged a bit too much. I feel that if i used a more specified sample i.e. In music genre lovers i would have more accurate feedback that would allow me to have an overall outlook on the products. All the products were consistent and when promoted and marketed it would do successfully well. In a group we showed each other our CD digi packs to choose our overall one. My digi pack was chosen because it was strong in continuity. On the front cover it had reference to eh city landscapes and on the back it referenced to the urban landscaped used it the video. This would result to the audience being familiar to this throughout and therefore we used my CD pack.
