We are going to benchmark the Performance Features Reliability Serviceability Aesthetics of
Metro Motorcycle Pakistan with Atlas Honda Pakistan.
1.2) Benchmarking
We are dealing with external benchmarking “comparison of organizational performance to
industry peers or across industries”
After that we select the two regions for Benchmarking.
1.2.1) Performance Benchmarking: In performance benchmarking we are
considering the product which is Metro MR 7OCC Motorcycle with Honda 70CC
Motorcycle.
1.2.2) Strategic Benchmarking: In this we identify the fundamental lessons and
winning strategies that will enable Metro Motorcycle to be successful in their
marketplaces.
2 - Introduction
2.1) The Atlas Honda Limited
Is a joint venture between the Atlas Group of Pakistan and Honda
Motor Company of Japan. The Atlas Honda was created in 1987 by
the merger of Kamboh bikes Limited and Atlas Autos Limited. Both
these motorcycle manufacturing concerns were established by the Atlas Group. Atlas Honda
manufactures and markets Honda motorcycles in collaboration with Honda Motor Company.
Atlas Honda Plants are located in Karachi,and Sheikhupura.
