Mannie far exceeded our expectations of a Realtor. She was instrumental in our both selling
and buying a home in 2011. We had contacted several other realtors prior to finding Mannie,

Manuela goes above and beyond what you would expect from your normal realtor. I first came
in contact Manuela over a year ago when we first found out we would be moving to the area.
Instead of putting me off like several other realtors in the area did, because we were so far out
from our actual move date, she took the time to really get to know our wants and needs and
set up a website for us to view the options available in our price range even a year out. As our
move became closer she made sure to stay in constant contact with me to update our
preference and areas we were interested in living. Manuela is very knowledgeable of the area
and really listened to our concerns and wants in a property. Over a couple weeks with her help
we were able to narrow our selections from about 100 houses down to just about 6 houses.

I have known Manuela for a few years and had always known she was a Realtor. When it came time for
my husband and I to purchase our first home together, I called Manuela Manuela took the time to find
out all we needed from a home. Our list was very different than most as my husband is in a wheelchair.
We were using a VA mortgage and there were lots of limitations that we had to work within. We needed
a home that we could easily remodel using a VA grant. We needed ceilings a certain height, no carpet in
the bedrooms, an open floor plan...the list went on! Our first home search went well, although we didn't
find THE home. Manuela was there every step of the way making sure that our loan application was
going smoothly. We hit many hiccups with the loan application due to past divorces, but Manuela kept
her cool and walked us through all we needed to do. Manuela was VERY patient as we looked at about 15
homes. Many were over-priced, and Manuela diligently went through comps and looked at which homes
had upgrades, what types of upgrades, the location and so on. Manuela spent a long time compiling a
worksheet so we knew what we were paying for with each home. We liked a couple of homes and even
put a bid on one...which we didn't get. My husband and I were disappointed, but Manuela didn't give up.
She is very resourceful. When we couldn't find any homes we liked on the listings, Manuela called some
realtor friends that she knew. They had a pocket listing and Manuela arranged for us to look at it. We fell in
love with the house as it had all we were looking for in a home. The closing process went super smooth.

First and foremost, I have to say Mannie is the BEST real estate agent in the Bay
area. My fiance and I were looking to purchase a home before the End of June first
time home buyers tax credit deadline. We were looking for our dream home on a
limited budget. We found a home that we fell in love with- the issue was the home
was a short sale. The short sale turned into a bit of a nightmare. Not only were we
trying to beat the tax credit deadline, but the "selling" agent failed to disclose that
the short sale was being sold to an investor and the investor was in turn going to
sell us the house. Bottom line, we were crushed when it appeared the deal would
NOT go thru due to the investors involvement. Mannie would not take no for an
answer and she convinced the investor to back away from the deal so we could buy
the home directly from the seller. We met the deadline, bought our dream home
and in the process made a life long friend in Mannie. Every time I drive into my
driveway, Mannie crosses my mind. I would recommend her to ANYONE looking
