2. TheGreatBarrier Reef The great barrier reefs location is Queensland The Great Barrier Reef has great big areas of sea grass, coral, 1,500 fish and 1,500 sponges. The Great Barrier Reef was one of first Australia’s heritage places. Because it has the most coral colonies in it and the abundance of the size of the reef. It is important to sea turtles and green sea turtles.
3. Uluru and Kutu-Jutu park It is located in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. Uluru is manly red but sometimes purple! Behind it is the Olgas and it changes colours at different times of the day. Uluru is the largest monoliths in the world. It is important to it’s Indigenous culture.
4. Sydney Opera House It is located in Sydney, NSW. The white roof is supposed to look like convincing sails. The Opera house took 14 years to build. It is on the list because it is the great architect work of the 20th century. It is important performing arts centre.
5. Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton gardens It is located in Melbourne ,VIC. The building had 1.5millon people in the middle dome. Around 2.2 million people visited the building so far . The building is a movement of the 19th and early 20th century. It is an important icon in Melbourne for tourists.
6. Festivals There is one festival that is called VIVID. What happens is that they get all these lights to put on some buildings. Some of the buildings are the Sydney Opera house, the customs house, the ring of fire and the jelly lights. The light show start in June and the lights go on at 6 o’ clock.
