2. LIFE IS INDEED A PARABLE OF TALENTS
Everyone has talents but
not everyone uses their
talents. In the Parable of
the Talents, it appears that
Jesus is stressing the
importance of a person
using their talents. A
talent is useless unless it is
used. There is no one that
has no talents. This
includes those in the
church and those outside
of the Body of Christ.
“To one he gave five talents of money, to another two
talents, and to another one talent, each according to his
ability.”
MATTHEW 25V15 (NIV)

3. Don't count on passion alone
While enthusiasm is a
great place to start, it's not
enough to sustain your
business for the long term.
Before launching your
business, do a reality check
and make sure you have
the other components
needed for success, such as
a willingness to work hard
and a market for your
services or products.

4. WORK WITH LIKE MINDS – PASSIONATE PEOPLE
Having employees who
share your zeal for the
business will help your
company succeed. By
hiring others who share
your devotion, you'll be
able to trust the business
to your employees as it
grows, rather than
insisting on having your
hands in every endeavour.
“Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion
of fools suffers harm.”

5. Share your passion
If you have a hobby, likely
there are others out there
who share that interest
and would like to learn
more about it. Sharing
your knowledge can be a
great way to build your
business.
“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers
they succeed.”

6. Keep the passion alive
Once your business gets
going, you can become
mired in the daily tasks of
running a company and
watch your original
excitement dry up. Keep
your passion alive by
staying involved in the
aspects you love most
while delegating other
aspects. Otherwise, your
work will turn into a form
of drudgery that may kill
your passion for the

7. Prioritize fun
Naturally, entrepreneurs
who start businesses
based on their interests
find their business to be
fun, but keeping it fun
takes a bit of work.
Maintaining primacy of
mission and having the
strength to stay on course
and avoid distractions is
critical. In addition to
making work fun for
employees, it's important
to make your own job as
the boss as enjoyable as
possible.

8. Expand your passion
When you start a business
based on a personal
interest, it can be easy to
assume that the business
must remain on the same
track to maintain your
dedication. But the most
successful entrepreneurs
understand that change is
good and that there may
be more than one way to
meet your original goals.
Always be open to new
ideas.
“Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let not
your hands be idle, for you do not know which will
succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do
equally well.”

9. Stay diligent
Do not forget that the
servant who went and
bury his talent was called
wicked and lazy. It is time
to thinking critically about
that talent you are holding.
Do not forget, the servants
who multiplied their
talents were not only given
more to manage but were
put in charge of many
things and share in their
master's happiness.
Everyone who has will be
given more, and he will
have an abundance.
