This document provides information about Woontack Woo and his research interests at KAIST's GSCT in ubiquitous virtual reality. His research focuses on 3D visual computing, DigiLog UI/UX, and CAMAR (context-aware mobile augmented reality). Specific areas of research under 3D visual computing include 4D+ augmented reality, RGB-D feature maps for registration, and AR guidance for contexts of interest. DigiLog UI/UX research looks at digital content over analog worlds, digital 3D content over books, and 3D object tracking for digital miniatures over real objects. CAMAR research involves object recognition and tracking, as well as context-based AR mashups for information visualization and interpretation.

The <Ubiquitous VR> research aims at the
development of new computing paradigms for future
“digilog life in smart space” that covers diverse research
areas, ranging from highly theoretical to practical and
mathematical to intuitive. Specifically, three main
research foci are planned : 3D Vision, DigiLog UI/UX,
Context-Aware Mobile Augmented Reality(CAMAR), etc.
