RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012

   Purpose: To examine what our greatest resolutions should
    be in 2012.
   Objective: To understand that being a good person is more
    than just a few new years resolutions it is a life time
    commitment to change and growth.

   No one is perfect. Wait a minute. I take that back – Ruby
    Frazier, my wife. Now that’s perfection.
   We are all trying to live by some rules or standards that can
    make us better people.

   The law of God has been written on our hearts so we know
    intuitively and instinctively what is right and what is wrong.

   Mat 22:35 KJV - Then one of them, [which was] a
    lawyer, asked [him a question], tempting him, and saying,
   Mat 22:36 KJV - Master, which [is] the great
    commandment in the law?
   Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love
    the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy
    soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great
    commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt
    love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two
    commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

   In other words these two commandments fulfilled all that
    the law required and the prophets proclaim from God.

   If we were to achieve just these two
    commandments I believe that we would be
    able to achieve all of our resolutions in life.

   Love God and love our neighbor as thyself.
    How can something so simple be so
    complicated to work out in our lives.

   Since all of the law and prophets hang on
    these two commandments then everything
    else in life must hang on them too.

   As we make resolutions for our life we must
    keep in mind that every resolution is related
    in some way to loving God and loving our
    neighbor.

   So, Have you started making your resolutions yet?
    Many of you have not.

   I have I write them every year. It is not that I
    am better than you because I am not.
   I am glutton for punishment and I will tell you
    why I say that later on.

   Resolution is from the Latin word
    resolutio. It means "to determine or
    decide upon a course of action, from
    around 1523 A.D.
     Prior to 1523 A.D. the word meant "to loosen
      or dissolve again," which was the original
      meaning of resolve.

   Resolutions – So why haven’t we chosen a
    course of action?
     Because   we hate resolutions
     We dread reliving the past in order to decide on
      the future
     We do not want to hold ourselves accountable to
      change
     We do not want to tell other people about our
      resolutions because they will hold us
      accountable.

   So What have you resolved to do in 2012?

   Go ahead speak it into the universe and
    write it down later.

   A resolution is a pledge to make a change in
    our behavior that will enable us to achieve
    our goals.

   Many people think that resolutions are the
    goals they want to achieved.

 This is why most people including myself do
  not achieve the resolutions or the goals we
  set at the beginning of the year.
 The goals we set never had a chance
  because we were never resolute in changing
  our behavior.

   To be resolute is to be firm, unyielding and
    unwavering in your decisions.

   It is the state of being bound emotionally
    and intellectually to a course of action that
    will enable you to achieve your goal.

   We have to want it in our hearts and
    minds first, before it will shows up in
    hands and feet.

   What are the changes in my behavior that I
    need to make in 2012.
        What am I resolving to do? I am going to help you
         out here:
   There are Six categories in 2012 we all need to
    work on:
    1.   Spiritual Growth
    2.   Marriage & Family Relationships
    3.   Career Development
    4.   Physical and Emotional Health
    5.   Financial Health and Wealth management
    6.   Personal development

 Spiritual   Growth is #1
   Itis more than a goal:
     Desire (Passion)
     Desire + Activities = Change in behavior
     Change + Time = Spiritual Growth
   Spiritual growth is the result of
    Passion, Consistent activities, over Time.
   Activities = can change behavior.
   But It does not happen overnight

   Activities   that lead to Spiritual Growth:
     Consistent  Prayer life
     Consistent Bible reading and study

     Consistent Christian fellowship

     Consistent Positive and Spiritual
      relationship
     Consistent Church attendance

     Consistent Sharing of your faith with others

 Now that we have an outline decide on what
  you want to do to grow spiritually.
 Who is going to hold you accountable?
 What exactly are you going to do?
 When are you going to do it?
 Where are you going to do it?
 How are you going to make it happen?
 Why do you want to make it happen?

 Spiritual   Growth #1
   Activities   that lead to Spiritual Growth:
      Consistent Prayer life
      Consistent Bible reading and study
      Consistent Christian fellowship
      Consistent Positive and Spiritual relationship
      Consistent Church attendance
      Consistent Sharing of your faith with others


      Completing   the activities leads to achieving the Goals
RESOLUTIONS IN 2010

 S.M.A.R.T Goals
 SMART is an (Acronym). Each letter represents
  a very important aspect of Goal setting.
 Specific

 Measurable

 Attainable

 Realistic

 Time bound
S.M.A.R.T GOALS
 Specific - A specific goal has a much greater
  chance of being accomplished than a general
  goal.
 To set a specific goal you must answer the six
  "W" questions:
       *Who:    Who is involved?
        *What: What do I want to accomplish?
        *Where: Identify a location.
        *When: Establish a time frame.
        *Which: Identify requirements and constraints.
        *Why:    Specific reasons, purpose or benefits of
        accomplishing the goal.
S.M.A.R.T GOALS
   Measurable - Establish concrete criteria for
    measuring progress toward the attainment of each
    goal you set.
   When you measure your progress, you stay on
    track, reach your target dates, and experience the
    exhilaration of achievement that spurs you on to
    work even harder to reach your goal.
   To determine if your goal is measurable, ask
    questions such as......How much? How many?
    How will I know when it is accomplished?
S.M.A.R.T GOALS
   Attainable - When you identify goals that are most
    important to you, you begin to figure out ways you
    can make them come true. You develop the
    attitudes, abilities, skills, and financial capacity to
    reach them.
   Goals that may have seemed far away and out of
    reach eventually move closer and become
    attainable, not because your goals shrink, but
    because you grow and expand to match them.
   When you list your goals you build your self-image.
    You see yourself as worthy of these goals, and
    develop the traits and personality that allow you to
    possess them.
S.M.A.R.T GOALS
   Realistic - To be realistic, a goal must represent an
    objective which you are both willing and able to work.
   A goal can be both high and realistic; you are the only
    one who can decide just how high your goal should
    be. But be sure that every goal represents substantial
    progress.
   A high goal is frequently easier to reach than a low
    one because a low goal exerts low motivational force.
   Your goal is probably realistic if you truly believe that it
    can be accomplished.
   What conditions would have to exist to accomplish this
    goal is the question to be asked.
S.M.A.R.T GOALS

Timely - A goal should be grounded within
 a time frame. With no time frame tied to it
 there's no sense of urgency.
 If you want to lose 10 lbs, when do you
 want to lose it by? "Someday" won't work.
 But if you anchor it within a timeframe, "by
 May 1st", then you've set your
 unconscious mind into motion to begin
 working on the goal.
S.M.A.R.T GOALS

 T can also stand for Tangible - A goal is
  tangible when you can experience it with
  one of the five senses:
 Taste, touch, smell, sight or hearing.

 When your goal is tangible you have a
  better chance of making it specific and
  measurable and thus attainable.
RESOLUTIONS IN 2010

   My resolutions in 2008, 2009, 2010 were not
    resolutions at all. They were goals. Which is
    why I didn’t achieve any of them.

   As goals they were not all S.M.A.R.T which
    is another reason why I didn’t achieve them.
MY RESOLUTIONS FOR 2008
1.    To read the bible everyday and one book a month and
      pray three times a day
2.    Write 2 poems and 1 motivational book in 2008
3.    Record a solo Christmas, Gospel & Poetry CD and a
      family Christmas & Gospel CD.
4.    Register for a JD or Ph.D program by 6/08
5.    Work with a trainer to lose 30 pounds
6.    Change Jobs or make more money
7.    Get organized and efficient with my time
8.    Date night one night a week with Ruby
9.    Friday/Saturday night family night
10.   Stop over eating at all meals
MY RESOLUTIONS FOR 2009
1.    To read the bible everyday and two books a month and pray
      three times a day
2.    Write 2 poems and 1 motivational book in 2009
3.    Record a solo Christmas, Gospel & Poetry CD and a family
      Christmas & Gospel CD.
4.    Register for a JD or Ph.D program by 6/09
5.    Work with a trainer to lose 30 pounds
6.    Make more money become #1 in Nation.
7.    Get organized and efficient with my time
8.    Date night one night a week with Ruby
9.    Friday/Saturday night family night
10.   Stop over eating at all meals

   I attempted every goal but ultimately failed in
    achieving all of them.

   I failed for the very same reasons we have been
    talking about today.

 I wasn’t willing to change my behavior. Setting
  the goal is easy changing the behavior is
  another matter.
 They were not all S.M.A.R.T.
MY SIX RESOLUTIONS FOR 2010

   In 2010 I was a little smarter.

   In 2010 I was focused on behavior. If I can
    get my behavior in check the goal
    achievement will follow.

  behavior…….
 Six categories in 2010:
    1.   Spiritual Growth
    2.   Marriage & Family Relationships
    3.   Career Development
    4.   Physical and Emotional Health
    5.   Financial Heath and Wealth management
    6.   Personal development
MY SIX RESOLUTIONS FOR 2010
1.   Block out time to read the bible and pray everyday.
2.   Get home by 6 pm and leave my work at the office. Be
     more attentive when talking to all family members.
3.   Get to work early and focus on building stronger
     relationships with my team member
4.   Exercise and eat responsibly daily.
5.   Save money by taking a lunch to work and keeping a
     record of my daily expenses. Eliminate my debt.
6.   Read one book a month, study my Spanish tapes and
     complete the application for a graduate program.
MY RESOLUTIONS FOR 2010
   I attempted every goal but ultimately failed in
    achieving most of them.

   I failed in 2010 for the very same reasons I failed in
    2009, 2008, and 2007:

   I wasn’t willing to change my behavior.
   Setting the goal is easy changing the behavior is
    another matter.
   Not all the goals were S.M.A.R.T
   I needed an accountability partner

 In 2011 I was humbled by my failures and
  recognize that I need help.
 I’m smarter but I recognize that I am not
  achieving the change I want to see.

   Why?

   Because no one is holding me accountable.

 In 2011 I said I must focused on my behavior
  and be held accountable.
 If I can have someone hold me accountable
  my behavior will change and the goal
  achievement will follow.
 My first step is to get an accountability
  partner. Here is what I learned.

   Your Accountability Partner.
     Cannot be your wife.
     Cannot be your best friend.
     Cannot be a friend at work.
     Cannot be a family member.
     They must be someone you will pay for their time.
     Someone you respect and will allow to challenge
      your integrity.
     Some one who is not afraid of you or intimidated
      by you.
     Someone who will take the challenge of holding
      you accountable very seriously.

   Accountability Partner.
     Your  first step in achieving you goals in 2012
      is finding an accountability partner folks
     Don’t even start trying to achieve your goals
      until you find an accountability partner.

   My second step in 2011 is to set S.M.A.R.T goals
   Specific
       To set a specific goal you must answer the six "W" questions:
   Measurable
       Establish concrete criteria for measuring progress toward the

       Figure out ways you can make them come true. You develop the
        attitudes, abilities, skills, and financial capacity to reach them.

    4.   Physical and Emotional Health
    5.   Financial Heath and Wealth management
    6.   Personal development
MY RESOLUTIONS FOR 2011
1.        Block out time to read the bible daily and pray at least three times everyday.
             From 5:00 AM to 5:45 AM Daily
2.        Leave the office at 5 pm to arrive home by 6 pm and leave my work at the office.
          Be more attentive when talking to all family members.
3.        Get to work by 8:30 AM and focus on building stronger relationships with my team
          member – speak on a personal level to one team member a day.
4.        Exercise and eat responsibly daily. Reduce carbs and eliminate sugar.
             Exercise from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM
5.        Eliminate all of consumer my debt by June of 2011.
6.        Master the Spanish language by listening to Spanish radio and my Spanish tapes
          in the car on the way to work.
7.        Complete the application process for a JD, Ph.D or DBA program and start in the
          winter of 2011. Identify school by March. Apply by April. Complete app. By May
8.        Date night with Ruby every Tuesday night starting this week. Leave the house at
          7pm
9.        Work on vacation, anniversary, birthday and holiday planning every week in our
          quite time together. Discuss every Saturday morning and keep notes.
10.        To read two books a month and eliminate TV in the evenings.
             Read motivation and educational books between 8 and 9 PM
             Watch TV during my workout in the mornings.
MY SIX RESOLUTIONS FOR 2011
1.    Publish two poetry and two motivational books by June 2011. Work on
      books for 2 hours every Saturday.
2.    Record a solo Christmas, & Gospel CD by June 2011. Be in studio once a
      month.
3.    Work with a trainer to lose 20 pounds – Start in April 2011
4.    Double my income in 20011 - #1 production at Wells Fargo in Nation.
5.    Launch the Power Is Now Website by March 2011 and my speaking Tour
      on Leadership by June 2011
6.    Get organized and efficient with my time – set daily task and prioritize by
      morning, afternoon and evening. Write it down daily by 7:30 AM.
7.    Friday/Saturday night family night – At home or outside focus on doing
      things together – no cell phones or computers leave them at home.
8.    Stop over eating at all meals - One serving and reasonable portions.
9.    Drink water every hour – at least 8 ounces.
10.   Call my mother once a week and my brothers and sisters.
         Call mom on Monday’s and my brothers and sisters on Friday’s.
MY RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012
1.    Publish book of poetry, finish leadership book and one motivational books
      by Dec. 2012. Work on books for 2 hours every Saturday.
2.    Record a solo Christmas, & Gospel CD by August 2012. Be in studio once
      a month.
3.    Work with a trainer to lose 30 pounds – by April 25, 2012
4.    Double my income in 2012 - #2 in production at Wells Fargo in my area.
5.    Launch the Power Is Now Ministries Website by December 2012
6.    Get organized and efficient with my time – set daily task and prioritize by
      morning, afternoon and evening. Write it down daily by 7:30 AM.
7.    Friday/Saturday night family night – At home or outside and focus on
      doing things together – no cell phones or computers leave them at home.
8.    Date night with Ruby every Tuesday night starting this week. Leave the
      house at 7pm
9.    Stop over eating at all meals - One serving and reasonable portions.
10.   Drink water every hour – at least 8 ounces.
11.   Call my mother once a week and my brothers and sisters monthly.
         Call mom on Monday’s and my brothers and sisters on the 1st Saturday’s.
     Have fun and enjoy life all the time. Focus on being positive.

 Each resolutions is related to each of the
  six categories.
 Job said to God:

 Job 42:2 "I know that you can do all things;
  no plan of yours can be thwarted.
 Paul said:

 Phl 4:13 I can do all things through Christ
  which strengthened me.

  • 2. RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012  Purpose: To examine what our greatest resolutions should be in 2012.  Objective: To understand that being a good person is more than just a few new years resolutions it is a life time commitment to change and growth.  No one is perfect. Wait a minute. I take that back – Ruby Frazier, my wife. Now that’s perfection.  We are all trying to live by some rules or standards that can make us better people.  The law of God has been written on our hearts so we know intuitively and instinctively what is right and what is wrong.

RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012  Mat 22:35 KJV - Then one of them, [which was] a lawyer, asked [him a question], tempting him, and saying,  Mat 22:36 KJV - Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?  Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.  In other words these two commandments fulfilled all that the law required and the prophets proclaim from God.
  • 4. RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012  If we were to achieve just these two commandments I believe that we would be able to achieve all of our resolutions in life.  Love God and love our neighbor as thyself. How can something so simple be so complicated to work out in our lives.
  • 5. RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012  Since all of the law and prophets hang on these two commandments then everything else in life must hang on them too.  As we make resolutions for our life we must keep in mind that every resolution is related in some way to loving God and loving our neighbor.
  • 6. RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012  So, Have you started making your resolutions yet? Many of you have not.  I have I write them every year. It is not that I am better than you because I am not.  I am glutton for punishment and I will tell you why I say that later on.
  • 7. RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012  Resolution is from the Latin word resolutio. It means "to determine or decide upon a course of action, from around 1523 A.D.  Prior to 1523 A.D. the word meant "to loosen or dissolve again," which was the original meaning of resolve.

RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012  Resolutions – So why haven’t we chosen a course of action?  Because we hate resolutions  We dread reliving the past in order to decide on the future  We do not want to hold ourselves accountable to change  We do not want to tell other people about our resolutions because they will hold us accountable.
  • 9. RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012  So What have you resolved to do in 2012?  Go ahead speak it into the universe and write it down later.
  • 10. RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012  A resolution is a pledge to make a change in our behavior that will enable us to achieve our goals.  Many people think that resolutions are the goals they want to achieved.
  • 11. RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012  This is why most people including myself do not achieve the resolutions or the goals we set at the beginning of the year.  The goals we set never had a chance because we were never resolute in changing our behavior.
  • 12. RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012  To be resolute is to be firm, unyielding and unwavering in your decisions.  It is the state of being bound emotionally and intellectually to a course of action that will enable you to achieve your goal.
  • 13. RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012  We have to want it in our hearts and minds first, before it will shows up in hands and feet.
  • 14. RESOLUTIONS IN 2012  What are the changes in my behavior that I need to make in 2012.  What am I resolving to do? I am going to help you out here:  There are Six categories in 2012 we all need to work on: 1. Spiritual Growth 2. Marriage & Family Relationships 3. Career Development 4. Physical and Emotional Health 5. Financial Health and Wealth management 6. Personal development

RESOLUTIONS IN 2012  Spiritual Growth is #1  Itis more than a goal: Desire (Passion) Desire + Activities = Change in behavior Change + Time = Spiritual Growth  Spiritual growth is the result of Passion, Consistent activities, over Time.  Activities = can change behavior.  But It does not happen overnight

RESOLUTIONS IN 2012  Spiritual Growth  Activities that lead to Spiritual Growth: Consistent Prayer life Consistent Bible reading and study Consistent Christian fellowship Consistent Positive and Spiritual relationship Consistent Church attendance Consistent Sharing of your faith with others

RESOLUTIONS IN 2010  Now that we have an outline decide on what you want to do to grow spiritually.  Who is going to hold you accountable?  What exactly are you going to do?  When are you going to do it?  Where are you going to do it?  How are you going to make it happen?  Why do you want to make it happen?

RESOLUTIONS IN 2010  Spiritual Growth #1  Activities that lead to Spiritual Growth:  Consistent Prayer life  Consistent Bible reading and study  Consistent Christian fellowship  Consistent Positive and Spiritual relationship  Consistent Church attendance  Consistent Sharing of your faith with others  Completing the activities leads to achieving the Goals
  • 19. RESOLUTIONS IN 2010  S.M.A.R.T Goals  SMART is an (Acronym). Each letter represents a very important aspect of Goal setting.  Specific  Measurable  Attainable  Realistic  Time bound

S.M.A.R.T GOALS  Specific - A specific goal has a much greater chance of being accomplished than a general goal.  To set a specific goal you must answer the six "W" questions:  *Who: Who is involved? *What: What do I want to accomplish? *Where: Identify a location. *When: Establish a time frame. *Which: Identify requirements and constraints. *Why: Specific reasons, purpose or benefits of accomplishing the goal.
  • 21. S.M.A.R.T GOALS  Measurable - Establish concrete criteria for measuring progress toward the attainment of each goal you set.  When you measure your progress, you stay on track, reach your target dates, and experience the exhilaration of achievement that spurs you on to work even harder to reach your goal.  To determine if your goal is measurable, ask questions such as......How much? How many? How will I know when it is accomplished?
  • 22. S.M.A.R.T GOALS  Attainable - When you identify goals that are most important to you, you begin to figure out ways you can make them come true. You develop the attitudes, abilities, skills, and financial capacity to reach them.  Goals that may have seemed far away and out of reach eventually move closer and become attainable, not because your goals shrink, but because you grow and expand to match them.  When you list your goals you build your self-image. You see yourself as worthy of these goals, and develop the traits and personality that allow you to possess them.
  • 23. S.M.A.R.T GOALS  Realistic - To be realistic, a goal must represent an objective which you are both willing and able to work.  A goal can be both high and realistic; you are the only one who can decide just how high your goal should be. But be sure that every goal represents substantial progress.  A high goal is frequently easier to reach than a low one because a low goal exerts low motivational force.  Your goal is probably realistic if you truly believe that it can be accomplished.  What conditions would have to exist to accomplish this goal is the question to be asked.
  • 24. S.M.A.R.T GOALS Timely - A goal should be grounded within a time frame. With no time frame tied to it there's no sense of urgency.  If you want to lose 10 lbs, when do you want to lose it by? "Someday" won't work. But if you anchor it within a timeframe, "by May 1st", then you've set your unconscious mind into motion to begin working on the goal.
  • 25. S.M.A.R.T GOALS  T can also stand for Tangible - A goal is tangible when you can experience it with one of the five senses:  Taste, touch, smell, sight or hearing.  When your goal is tangible you have a better chance of making it specific and measurable and thus attainable.
  • 26. RESOLUTIONS IN 2010  My resolutions in 2008, 2009, 2010 were not resolutions at all. They were goals. Which is why I didn’t achieve any of them.  As goals they were not all S.M.A.R.T which is another reason why I didn’t achieve them.
  • 27. MY RESOLUTIONS FOR 2008 1. To read the bible everyday and one book a month and pray three times a day 2. Write 2 poems and 1 motivational book in 2008 3. Record a solo Christmas, Gospel & Poetry CD and a family Christmas & Gospel CD. 4. Register for a JD or Ph.D program by 6/08 5. Work with a trainer to lose 30 pounds 6. Change Jobs or make more money 7. Get organized and efficient with my time 8. Date night one night a week with Ruby 9. Friday/Saturday night family night 10. Stop over eating at all meals

Record a solo Christmas, Gospel & Poetry CD and a family Christmas & Gospel CD. 4. Register for a JD or Ph.D program by 6/09 5. Work with a trainer to lose 30 pounds 6. Make more money become #1 in Nation. 7. Get organized and efficient with my time 8. Date night one night a week with Ruby 9. Friday/Saturday night family night 10. Stop over eating at all meals

MY RESOLUTIONS FOR 2009  I attempted every goal but ultimately failed in achieving all of them.  I failed for the very same reasons we have been talking about today.  I wasn’t willing to change my behavior. Setting the goal is easy changing the behavior is another matter.  They were not all S.M.A.R.T.
  • 30. MY SIX RESOLUTIONS FOR 2010  In 2010 I was a little smarter.  In 2010 I was focused on behavior. If I can get my behavior in check the goal achievement will follow.

  • 32. MY SIX RESOLUTIONS FOR 2010 1. Block out time to read the bible and pray everyday. 2. Get home by 6 pm and leave my work at the office. Be more attentive when talking to all family members. 3. Get to work early and focus on building stronger relationships with my team member 4. Exercise and eat responsibly daily. 5. Save money by taking a lunch to work and keeping a record of my daily expenses. Eliminate my debt. 6. Read one book a month, study my Spanish tapes and complete the application for a graduate program.

  • 34. MY SIX RESOLUTIONS FOR 2011  In 2011 I was humbled by my failures and recognize that I need help.  I’m smarter but I recognize that I am not achieving the change I want to see.  Why?  Because no one is holding me accountable.
  • 35. MY RESOLUTIONS FOR 2011  In 2011 I said I must focused on my behavior and be held accountable.  If I can have someone hold me accountable my behavior will change and the goal achievement will follow.  My first step is to get an accountability partner. Here is what I learned.

MY RESOLUTIONS FOR 2011  Your Accountability Partner.  Cannot be your wife.  Cannot be your best friend.  Cannot be a friend at work.  Cannot be a family member.  They must be someone you will pay for their time.  Someone you respect and will allow to challenge your integrity.  Some one who is not afraid of you or intimidated by you.  Someone who will take the challenge of holding you accountable very seriously.
  • 37. MY RESOLUTIONS FOR 2011  Accountability Partner.  Your first step in achieving you goals in 2012 is finding an accountability partner folks  Don’t even start trying to achieve your goals until you find an accountability partner. No accountability – No results

  • 40. MY RESOLUTIONS FOR 2011 1. Block out time to read the bible daily and pray at least three times everyday.  From 5:00 AM to 5:45 AM Daily 2. Leave the office at 5 pm to arrive home by 6 pm and leave my work at the office. Be more attentive when talking to all family members. 3. Get to work by 8:30 AM and focus on building stronger relationships with my team member – speak on a personal level to one team member a day. 4. Exercise and eat responsibly daily. Reduce carbs and eliminate sugar.  Exercise from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM 5. Eliminate all of consumer my debt by June of 2011. 6. Master the Spanish language by listening to Spanish radio and my Spanish tapes in the car on the way to work. 7. Complete the application process for a JD, Ph.D or DBA program and start in the winter of 2011. Identify school by March. Apply by April. Complete app. By May 8. Date night with Ruby every Tuesday night starting this week. Leave the house at 7pm 9. Work on vacation, anniversary, birthday and holiday planning every week in our quite time together. Discuss every Saturday morning and keep notes. 10. To read two books a month and eliminate TV in the evenings.  Read motivation and educational books between 8 and 9 PM  Watch TV during my workout in the mornings.
  • 41. MY SIX RESOLUTIONS FOR 2011 1. Publish two poetry and two motivational books by June 2011. Work on books for 2 hours every Saturday. 2. Record a solo Christmas, & Gospel CD by June 2011. Be in studio once a month. 3. Work with a trainer to lose 20 pounds – Start in April 2011 4. Double my income in 20011 - #1 production at Wells Fargo in Nation. 5. Launch the Power Is Now Website by March 2011 and my speaking Tour on Leadership by June 2011 6. Get organized and efficient with my time – set daily task and prioritize by morning, afternoon and evening. Write it down daily by 7:30 AM. 7. Friday/Saturday night family night – At home or outside focus on doing things together – no cell phones or computers leave them at home. 8. Stop over eating at all meals - One serving and reasonable portions. 9. Drink water every hour – at least 8 ounces. 10. Call my mother once a week and my brothers and sisters.  Call mom on Monday’s and my brothers and sisters on Friday’s.

Record a solo Christmas, & Gospel CD by August 2012. Be in studio once a month. 3. Work with a trainer to lose 30 pounds – by April 25, 2012 4. Double my income in 2012 - #2 in production at Wells Fargo in my area. 5. Launch the Power Is Now Ministries Website by December 2012 6. Get organized and efficient with my time – set daily task and prioritize by morning, afternoon and evening. Write it down daily by 7:30 AM. 7. Friday/Saturday night family night – At home or outside and focus on doing things together – no cell phones or computers leave them at home. 8. Date night with Ruby every Tuesday night starting this week. Leave the house at 7pm 9. Stop over eating at all meals - One serving and reasonable portions. 10. Drink water every hour – at least 8 ounces. 11. Call my mother once a week and my brothers and sisters monthly.  Call mom on Monday’s and my brothers and sisters on the 1st Saturday’s.  Have fun and enjoy life all the time. Focus on being positive.
