aged 2 and older are included in a new Clinical Practice Guideline for the Evaluation and
Treatment of Children and Adolescents With Obesity. The guidelines and supporting
documents are extensive and provide excellent evidence-based information. A few
interesting points about the guidelines I stumbled upon via podcast were biases, Intensive
Health Behavior and Lifestyle Treatment, and the recommendations for Pediatric Metabolic
