This document summarizes a product seminar about a hydrogen supplement called excellent H. It discusses the role of hydrogen in the human body, how free radicals contribute to illness, and the benefits of hydrogen as an antioxidant. Hydrogen selectively neutralizes hydroxyl radicals and improves energy by converting to water after completing its antioxidant effects. The supplement utilizes coral calcium to absorb and release hydrogen in the body. It was invented by Dr. Taneaki Oikawa and Dr. Kokichi Hanaoka.

contribute to illness
Why do we get sick?
With recent medical discoveries, it is said
that 90% of chronic diseases are caused
by free radicals, which come from the
body’s internal oxidation process over
the years.

Hydroxyl Radicals are particularly reactive and damaging to body
tissues. But the human body doesn’t produce any natural
antioxidant enzymes to neutralize their effects!

There are plenty of antioxidant supplements
in the market that have been developed to
fight free radicals.

14. Supplements
Potential negatives relating to Supplements:
1) After they have served their anti-oxidation
properties, they remain as radicals themselves
(similar to the free radicals).
2) Since they have large molecular sizes they
may not reach certain parts of the body.
※ Only Hydrogen can pass / penetrate through
all areas of the body.

15. The Radical Chain
After completing their antioxation effects, supplements such
as Vitamins, minerals, Catechin, and enzymes will remain in
the body and become a new form of free radicals.

Let’s first talk about the mechanisms of the human body. We do these 3 things every day in our lives, we eat, breathe, and sleep. So these activities perform very important functions. We eat, in order to absorb nutrients. We breathe, because oxygen is required during metabolism. We sleep so we can store the energy generated for our daily activities.
- Next let’s continue with the human body mechanisms.- The 3 major nutrients include Carbohydrate, Fat, and Protein. These nutrients then turn into glucose, fatty acid, and amino acid. - The Glycolysis process occurs with Oxygen in the body. This chemical reaction turns these nutrients into AcetyleCoA. - Acetyl-CoA is an important molecule in metabolism. Its main use is to convey the carbon atoms within the acetyl group to the TCA cycle (citric acid cycle) to be oxidized for energy production. This process occurs in the mitochondrian. - The citric acid cycle (TCA Cycle) is a series of enzyme-catalysed chemical reactions, the chemical conversion of these nutrients into carbon dioxide and water to generate a form of usable energy, called ATP.
And Hydrogen is essential when producing ATP.
We mentioned the word Mitochondrian before. You may ask, what is it? Mitochondria can be described as "cellular power plants" because they generate most of our body cell's supply of (ATP), adenosine triphosphate (ATP), used as a source of chemical energy.[2] In addition to supplying cellular energy, mitochondria are involved in a range of other processes, such as signaling, cellular differentiation, cell death, as well as the control of the cell cycle and cell growth.[3]
Below is a diagram of a basic cell structure. Hydrogen can protect mitochondrion from oxidation. In fact, 80% of cells die in each hour as a result of free radicalsBut with hydrogen, the death rate decreases to less than 10%
What factors contribute to the forming of free radicals? In fact, about 1-3%...Besides that, ….All contribute to the formation of free radicals.
There are many types of Reactive Oxygen species, the most commonly known include superoxide radicals, peroxide (hydrogen peroxide), and hydroxyl radicals. On the other hand, our bodies also produce natural antioxidant enzymes to protect us from the reactive oxygen species. For example, Superoxide dismutases for superoxide radicals, and catalase / glutathione peroxidase for peroxide or hydrogen peroxide.Unfortunately for hydroxyl radicals, our bodies don’t product any natural enzymes to neutralize their effects. Hydrogen peroxide is reduced to hydroxyl radicals by the enzymes glutathione peroxidase and catalase in the presence of transition metals such iron or copper. Hydroxyl radicals can cause serious damage to parts of cells such as proteins, DNA, and cell membranes by stealing their electrons through a process called oxidation. The dangers of the hydroxyl radical can be described as"If the function of radicals is to destroy molecules and tissues, then the hydroxyl radical would be the radical's radical. It reacts at diffusion rates with virtually any molecule found in its path including macromolecules such as DNA, membrane lipids, proteins, and carbohydrates. In terms of DNA, the hydroxyl radical can induce strand breaks as well as chemical changes in the DNA structure."
So what can be done about those hydroxyl radicals? The answer lies in Hydrogen.
The blood-brain barrier (BBB) is a separation of circulating blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) maintained by the choroid plexus in the central nervous system (CNS). Endothelial cells restrict the diffusion of microscopic objects (e.g. bacteria) and large or hydrophilic molecules into the CSF, while allowing the diffusion of small hydrophobic molecules (O2, hormones, CO2). Cells of the barrier actively transport metabolic products such as glucose across the barrier with specific proteins.
Let’s continue with the supplement talk. Let me show you how the radical chain works.Let’s look at the diagram below. As an example, we consume fat, when fat is being metabolized a form free radicals called lipoperoxide are produced. So we take Vitamin E to counteract the oxidation effect. And Lipoperoxide turns back into fat. However, after Vitamin E completed its antioxidation mission, it turns into “Vitamin E radical”.So let’s say we take Vitamin C to counteract the oxidation effect. And “Vitamin E radical” turns back into Vitamin E.Next, after Vitamin C completed its antioxidation mission, it remains as Vitamin C radical. This free radical chain continues on and on, Until, we introduce Hydrogen to the chain. Hydrogen provides the vitamin C radical with the missing electron and neutralizes it back into Vitamin C. And after the mission is accomplished, instead of turning into another radical, hydrogen combines with oxygen and is discharged from the body as water.
