Kepler’s and Newton’s Laws

2.  Objects maintain a constant velocity unless
acted upon by an outside force.
 Force=Mass times acceleration, force is
proportional to mass or acceleration.
 No force occurs in isolation, it occurs in
balanced pairs.

3.  All planets orbit in an ellipse.
 The closer an object gets to the gravitational
center, the faster the object goes.
 P2 = a3 .p= earth years. a= astronomical units
 An astronomical unit is the distance from the
earth to the sun which is an average 93,000,000
miles

4.  We concluded that these are amazing
discoveries about space. If we didn’t have these
laws/discoveries then we, as in the world,
would be confused so much about space
without these laws.
