WINTER 2011
Our picks Grant $$$ will fund celebration
The State Library of Ohio board has awarded the library a Choose to Read Ohio LSTA grant of
Adults
$2,490. Our proposal was one of just six approved for public libraries across the state.
More good news! The funds will provide a library celebration of Ohio authors for children. The
marquee event coming in April will be a visit from Will Hillenbrand, illustrator of Sleep, Big Bear,
Sleep! Watch for dates!
Teens Happy 2011 and thanks for 2010
Director Don W. Barlow extends a huge “thank you” and shares a couple of highlights and
challenges from 2010. Donʼs blog explains how we rank as a Five Star public library and
among the best in the nation. Plus, your understanding helped weather last yearʼs budget
cuts.
