33 KV High Voltage Switching operations
- Have knowledge and appreciation of the importance of safety rules-2nd
Edition 1998 and
able to apply these rules when handling Medium and High Voltage Equipment.
- Have knowledge of categories of authorised persons on the power system and the working
relationship between them i.e. the Controller, Senior Authorised Person and the Competent

5. • Acting Foreman (2012-2013);on Diesel and electrical locomotives
- In addition to the basic duties of an electrician, I had the following duties
added as acting foreman.
- Directing and training workers and apprentices to install, maintain, or repair
electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
- Performing business management duties such as maintaining records and
files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment.
- Correcting unsafe conditions in work area and reporting any conditions that
are not correctable to the senior foreman or Engineer immediately.
