A Tsunami Tragedy ~ Wise Reflections for Troubled Times (Eng. & Chi.).pptx
Weekly news from WCUMC 10-07-2012
1. Weekly News from WCUMC-10/07/2012
Sharing the transforming love of Jesus, across the street and around the world.
"Not everyone who says Lord, Lord"
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of
heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in
heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy
in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform
many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from
me, you evildoers!’"
Matthew 7:21-23
Kingdom living involves more than just using the right words. It takes
faithful, obedient thought and action.
The Christian life and experience must always be personal but never
private. People need the integrity of word and deed in followers of Jesus
Christ.
Our life must reflect what we affirm. Christians must be accountable to
each other.
What we do as Christians matters. Do we want a Savior ... but not a
Lord.
Next week– “The Poor You Will Always Have With You” – John 12:1-8, Pastor Rick Vinther,

is you take one thing out and replace it with
something different.
We will meet at 2:30 pm ast a local place, to be
