In order to help teachers effectively integrate technology into the curriculum. Your strategy for assessing the "technology culture" will provide a systematic review and analysis of what works best. A review of past information technology planning and procurement procedures will be evaluated to determine the best strategic plan. In order to obtain information from key stakeholders within your organization, an external assessment should be done. This assessment will gather data through focus groups, surveys, studies and interviews. Then suggest policies that will streamline available resources to help staff members reach their professional development goals. Your goal is to develop a set of best practices, usage policies, life cycle policies and evaluation techniques that will benefit the organization and increase productivity. In order to determine the best practices for our organization, I recommend the Technology Literacy Benchmarks for schools and nonprofit organizations. This tool will provide you with the ability create the framework that will assess and evaluate our current practices against the operations and procedures of a set of best practice standards. The Technology Literacy Benchmarks will serve as a continual process of improvement that will cover three phases.
