2. The overall main Focus of a drumming
magazine such as my own is the focus on
mainly drumming and drums.
Other part will contain certain bits about
bands but again the main focus of the
magazine and its audience will be towards
drummers and people who are interested in
drumming.
3. When looking into who my audience
would be I created a few questionnaires
to give around my local school and
music shop.
With the data that I have collected from
them It helped me work out whom my
customer would be and what would suit
them best in a magazine.
4. I decided to see what my
audience would want more in a
music magazine so I created a
Questionnaire and gave it out to
people in my local area to see
what they would want and if there
ever get music magazines.
When creating my questionnaire I
set out the questions so it would
suit people who read magazines
and people who don’t read them
but would like too.
Here is the question air that I made
and gave out…
5. After giving out 50 or so questionnaires out to the
public I gathered all of the information back and
decided to use it to make my magazine better.
On one of the question ( C ) I asked the question
“When reading a music magazine what do you most
want to know about?” and many people replied
along the lines of that they want the magazine to be
more about the music and the instruments not just all
about the tours and artists, so I have decided to
create my magazine around the music and
instruments and not just the artists.
