11. First-on-the-market Software Platform with Video
Processing and Automated Workflow Management
A comprehensive workflow
management system
combined with Digital Asset
Management (video footages
and imagery) designed for
managing drone-enabled
inspections of oil rigs – from
inspection initiation to secure
results publishing and
distribution.
12. SaaS Marketplace and Dealer Locator with
Multiple 3rd Party Service Integrations
Softeq delivered BrandLeap Marketplace, an
eCommerce portal designed to facilitate interaction
among brands, their authorized resellers, and end-
customers by providing insight into transactional
information and the return on advertising spending.
Multiple integrations with major marketplaces, web
services and external API, including:
• Amazon
• BestBuy
• Stripe Payment Gateway (PCI-DSS compliant)
• UPS
• USPS
• Fedex
• Multiple individual resellers’ websites
BrandLeap draws on the SaaS model by providing
services based on account subscriptions.
13. Comprehensive SaaS-based Sensor Data Acquisition
and Management System for Labs
• Softeq developed a comprehensive data
acquisition and management system that
taps hardware and software component
capabilities for aggregating, processing, and
storing information retrieved from the
humidity and temperature sensors installed
in a laboratory.
• The Data Processing app is an Android or
Windows desktop app designed to process
data received via the WLR. It transforms the
sensor aggregated data into a readable
format. Supplemented with a graphic
presentation, the data is sent to the LIMS
server over the Bluetooth or USB connection
in an XML file format.
• The LIMS is designed to store the results of
measurements and respective stats.
14. The 1st Ever Chip & PIN Payment Technology for
Secure Online Transactions
• The Qkey is an innovative
solution for online payments.
• The same security chip used on
new bank cards is embedded
onto a payment key.
• The Qkey “smart wallet” allows
storing card data and other
sensitive information more
securely in your pocket ̶ off the
PC, off the browser, off the grid
• Member of FIDO® (Fast IDentity
Online) Alliance
15. Embedded Solution to Reduce Drilling Equipment
Downtime by 300% for Tercel
A leading drilling equipment
manufacturer aimed to optimize
the way the data captured during
well boring was transferred from
the internal memory integrated in
a drill bit to an external computer.
Softeq developed an embedded
TCP/IP stack driven solution that
helps significantly reduce the data
acquisition span, while minimizing
production losses that were
caused by extended equipment
downtime.
16. RFID-powered Warehouse Management Solution
Softeq suggested a technical solution for a
client equipment service business who was
looking to automate his warehouse
management.
Softeq developed a solution based on
active RFID tags and beacons that allows
locating and tracking several hundred
thousand pieces of equipment in a giant
warehouse. The solution replaces the
current manual bar code scanning process
and makes order management (each order
can consist of 40,000 pieces).
The solution can be extended with
Augmented Reality feature powered by
smart glasses.
17. NVIDIA’s Camera App for Tegra4-powered Devices:
Redefining User Experience in Mobile Digital Imaging
18. Camera App with Video Processing & Sensor Data
Visualization Demoed at The Mobile World Congress
• Pairing to an external sensor that is set on
snowboard
• Taking video while simultaneously receiving
data from the sensor (3 axes position,
gyroscope, acceleration, etc.)
• Showing video preview with:
• Trick recognition
• Drawing graphics built using the sensor data
• Ability to export video for independent
usage. Overlays with graphs and trick
recognition are applied to the video during
post-processing.
• Application of custom metadata over the
whole video piece during post-processing.
19. Key Features
• Audio call
• Instant Messaging
• Pictures and files sharing
• Account creation assistant
• Address Book

24. Interactive Riflescope with Sensor-based Data
Processing Capabilities
Created to transform a mobile phone into a riflescope for tactical
rifles, paintball markers, and airsoft guns, the application utilizes
smartphone’s built-in sensors to capture and output the
environmental data on the screen.
Softeq’s team created an app that provides for the following
features:
• Intuitive heads up display
• 5X digital zoom
• Library of selectable reticles
• Ballistic drop compensation
• Compass and GPS positioning
• Local prevailing winds
• Shot timer
• Flashlight and strobe
• Riflescope video recording (up
to 3 GB) and upload to
YouTube
25. Showcasing OMRON’s Face Sensing Technology
Capabilities with Real-time Image Processing on iOS
Omron required a demo app that would be able
to fully demonstrate the functional features of
the company’s proprietary OKAO Vision face
sensing technology.
Softeq created an iOS POC application with real-
time image processing capabilities. The
delivered app demonstrates the following
features :
• Face detection
• Facial feature extraction
• Face recognition
• Analysis of facial characteristics
• Automatic optimum facial picture adjustment

26. Starter’s Kit and First-person Shooter in Virtual Reality
for EPSON’s Moverio Glasses
Softeq worked on a pre-installed application set
for EPSON Moverio Glasses and investigated
multiple areas of business implementation.
Softeq also developed a demo gaming
application – Deadlandz.
27. Face Recognition on Google Glass: Acting as a
Tech Expert for Google
Softeq's R&D team was among the very few
developers who started investigating the
capabilities of Google Glass before it was
released for sale. One of the apps we built is a
camera application that uses a predefined
database of faces to learn Neural Networks
(Fisher face recognition algorithms from the
OpenCV Library).
When a new face is found (the number of
detected faces changes) each face is sent for
processing. The Fisher algorithm requires square
grayscale pictures for input. If the face is
recognized, the information is published on the
screen.
