2. Canada Immigration News as on April
2020
Canada immigration has released some
important updates in view of Covid-19
Pandemic. However, the government
continues to accept immigration
applications and invite candidates to apply
Canada PR thorough express entry and
PNP.

3. BCPNP Regular Draw opened
British Columbia opened regular draw of BCPNP
on April 16, 2020 to issue as many as 271
Invitations under different categories of BCPNP.
It was the first regular BCPNP draw in April
2020.

4. Express Entry Draw opened for CEC
The IRCC held its Canadian Experience Class
specific Express Entry Draw on 16th April 2020
to issue 3,782 invitations with minimum CRS
point score being just 455 points.

5. Latest Express Entry draw for PNP
candidates
The IRCC opened its latest Express Entry Draw
on 15th April 2020 for provincial nominee
candidates to issue 118 invitations with
minimum CRS point score being 808 points.

6. IRCC continues to process application
IRCC announced that it will continue to process
the immigration applications, including eTA
(Electronic Travel Authorization), Study visa,
etc.

7. Ontario Accepting Applications from
foreign Medical graduates
Ontario is accepting the immigration
applications from the International Medical
Graduates in order to fight against the Covid-19
Pandemic.

8. Two EE draws open
The IRCC opened two express entry draws on
same date, i.e. 9th April 2020 for CEC and
Provincial nominee candidates to invite total
3,900 candidates.

9. Manitoba PNP draw
Manitoba has issued total 153 Letters of
Advice (LAAs) in the latest MPNP draw held
on 9th April 2020.

10. Canada PR FEE TO BE REVISED
The IRCC has announced to revise the
Canadian permanent residency fee with
effect from April 30, 2020.

11. Spousal immigration applications are
being accepted
Canadian government has announced that it
will continue to accept the spousal
immigration applications despite the
disruption caused by Covid-19.
