After his conversion, Paul went to Arabia and Damascus. He later visited Jerusalem to see Peter and stayed with him for 15 days, but did not see any other apostles except James. Paul then went to Syria and Cilicia, where he was unknown to the churches in Judea. Fourteen years later, Paul returned to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus. Paul faced many dangers from Jews and Gentiles, including imprisonment, beatings, shipwrecks and hunger. Some believers who fled persecution in Jerusalem preached to Greeks in Antioch, and many believed. Barnabas was sent to Antioch and found Saul, bringing him back, and they taught many people for a year.

2. GALATIANS 1:16b-22
…I did not immediately consult with anyone; nor
did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles
before me, but I went away into Arabia, & returned
again to Damascus. Then after three years I went
up to Jerusalem to visit (Peter) & remained with him
15 days. But I saw none of the other apostles except
James the Lord's brother…
Then I went into the regions of Syria &
Cilicia. And I was still unknown in person
to the churches of Judea that are in Christ.

4. GALATIANS 2:1
Then after fourteen years I went up again
to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus
along with me.

5. 2 COR 11:24-27
Five times I received at the hands of the Jews
the forty lashes less one. Three times I was
beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times
I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift
at sea; on frequent journeys, in danger from
rivers, danger from robbers, danger from my
own people, danger from Gentiles, danger in
the city, danger in the wilderness,
danger at sea, danger from false brothers;

6. 2 COR 11:24-27
…in toil and hardship, through many
a sleepless night, in hunger & thirst,
often without food, in cold & exposure.

8. ACTS 11:19-24
Now those who were scattered because of the
persecution that arose over Stephen traveled
as far as Phoenicia & Cyprus & Antioch,
speaking the word to no one except Jews.
But there were some of them, men of Cyprus
& Cyrene, who on coming to Antioch spoke
to the Hellenists (Greek speaking Gentiles)
also, preaching the Lord Jesus.

10. ACTS 11:19-26
And the hand of the Lord was with them,
& a great number who believed turned to
the Lord. The report of this came to the ears
of the church in Jerusalem, & they sent
Barnabas to Antioch. When he came & saw
the grace of God, he was glad, & he exhorted
them all to remain faithful to the Lord with
steadfast purpose, for he was a good
man, full of the Holy Spirit & of faith.

11. ACTS 11:19-26
And a great many people were added to
the Lord. So Barnabas went to Tarsus to
look for Saul, & when he had found him,
he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year
they met with the church & taught a great
many people. And in Antioch the disciples
were first called Christians.
