will improve the working condition and make the gatehouses in full compliance with the company and government
standards. This BI also includes provision of Caretaker Building, Kennel K-9 Building, Isolation and Storage Magazine
Building. The main scope is to provide new gatehouses to replace the existing, construct new sunshades, new support
buildings with prayer room, communication room, electrical room and toilet, ID Office and all the required utility
services, therein.

This Project includes Design and Construction of Marine Structures, dredging and reclamation of Phase
1A development of the Greenfield offshore Khalifa Port. An island platform will be made from reclaimed
seabed material that will be dredged to create the harbour basin. The island will be protected by an
Environmental Breakwater, quay walls, rock revetments and breakwaters. It also includes the construction of
3.2km causeway, 1km long highway bridge and 3.5 km causeway/trestle and an 800 m long berth for the use of
Emirates Aluminium (EMAL).
Responsibilities:
Assisted the Section Head for Breakwater and Revetments section.
Co-ordinated and supervised daily site activities; and tracked project activities to ensure timely completion.

abutment portion and all the rock surfaces to be sealed with plain cement concrete and the stilling basin with
M20 concrete. It includes the backfilling and compaction of impervious Layers from the Cut-off trench and
protected by revetments on both Upstream and downstream surfaces.
