My traditional approach of reaching out to people in the ad world was being ignored - and my parents were quickly getting worried that their 23-year-old daughter was an unemployable bum. Slightly less 'fresh'​ of a fresh grad than I was 5 months before, I was desperate. So I headed down to vandalize the walls of BBH. They gave me an internship. The story was featured in Singapore's Channel 8 news and Cosmopolitan magazine. After over two years at We Are Social Singapore, tinkering around with social media and making conversation online, I'm now working independently on social media strategies with people like you. You'll find that I'm less awkward online than I am offline.
