Activities performed:
 Study and analysis of the mapping document indicating the source tables, columns, data types,
transformations required, business rules to be applied, target tables, columns and data types.
 Design and implement warehouse database structures. Map data between source systems, data
warehouses, and data marts.
 Develop data warehouse process models, including sourcing, loading, transformation,
extraction and verify the structure, accuracy and quality of warehouse data.
 Development of Mappings and Mapplets using Informatica Power Center.

2. Client/Company: Dresser-Rand
Project: – Development of P&L and sales reports for Dressar-Rand
Role : Systems Engineer
The project is about developing a series of year-wise/quarter-wise/monthly/daily reports for P&L and
sales analysis using the data already cleansed by the client. IBM cognos framework manager is used to
generate various dimension models according to the client’s requirements for analysis of the data. These
framework packages are then used in IBM report studio to deliver a sophisticated UI-like reports for
the clients to generate the reports at their own convenience. Various Drill-Through operation have been
implemented in both P&L and sales reports.
Activities performed:
 Development of framework packages in Cognos for P & L reports and sales report of Dresser-
Rand.
 Generating report layout for sales and P & L using Report studio of IBM Cognos
 Creation of sophisticated Dashboards for better analysis of sales by the client
 Implementation of Drill-Through concept in both sales and P&L reports.
 Implemented a scheduler to automatically generate various reports as per the clients needs.
 Documentation of the P & L report generation process.

Project: – Datawarehouse Testing for ETL process in Teradata and Oracle
Role : Test Engineer
Horizon is a Healthcare insurance giant from New Jersey that handles Healthcare related services for
all individuals and Federal Employees of US government in New Jersey. This project involves
performing Data warehouse testing for all the different ETL data flows for Members and providers of
Horizon. We prepare test cases for testing as per the TRD requirement, perform analysis and do System
Integration Testing (SIT) that handles the validation of all the required scenarios and business logics
implemented in the ETL process at each stage/layer of the data load. Finally we do an End to End testing
of the entire system flow to validate the system’s integration.
Activities performed:
 Analyze the TRD provided by the Development team determine the scenarios to be tested in the
ETL flow
 Create System test plan, test data files and write test cases for each of the module to be tested.

3.  Create plans, test files, scenarios and scripts for data warehouse testing, ranging from unit to
integration testing and plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope and
delivery dates.
 Validate the Schema, Record count and the actual data at table level as per the mapping
document provided by the Development team
 Identify, analyze, and document defects with data flow, transformation logic and report defects
to software development team.
 Analyze and automate various file handling processes needed for data validation between
different Database systems
 Perform System Integration testing and End to End testing of the system flow and document the
test results.
