What happened when we let the top dudes in
our life style us in Gap's slouchy-sexy
signature boyfriend shirt? Believe it or not, they
came up with four awesome outfits!

2. The guy stylist: My husband Max
The outfit: An oxford blue boyfriend shirt with a pleated skirt and
a bright little bag.
My thoughts: As you can see by the super-pale color of my legs, I
haven't made it to the beach much this summer. When Max
suggested I pair the boyfriend shirt with denim cutoffs, I said "try
again". His second choice was this flirty pleated skirt. I was
impressed when he added this red bag for a "pop of color". Genius!

3. The guy stylist: Laurel's boyfriend Justin
The outfit: A chambray boyfriend shirt worn as a jacket over a
body-con dress and heels.
Laurel's take: "Justin prefers it when I dress femininely, but but
fussy—he's always saying, "Can't you just please once dress like a
girl??" In reality, I dress to his tastes .5% of the time, but I like this
outfit because the shirt is so comfortable, and I love the starkness
of my Theory sheath dress."

The outfit: Preppy pants and bold heels with a crisp white boyfriend
shirt.
Darren's theory: "Nikki has a really versatile style so it's easy for her
to play up simple items and look great. I asked her to roll up the
shirt and show off her bangles (or whatever you call them.) I chose
the plaid pants because the pattern looks great against solid colors
and accents her (sometimes) preppy style."

5. The guy stylist: Tracey's husband Eric
The outfit: A striped boyfriend shirt with coordinating shorts and
bright-color heels.
Eric's idea: "I like the way blue and white look together. It's a casual
shirt, so I thought it could use a little something with the shoes."
Tracey's reaction: "I would never have put these pieces together
like this, but I actually thought it was kinda cute! These shorts have
been sitting in my closet unworn forever, and now I have a reason to
wear them.".
