Find and Use Online Media
The Internet is literally bursting with compel-
ling digital media, but how do you find and
use that content correctly? Find free music,
images, and video you can use or remix
in your own creative works. Learn about
Creative Commons, open access licenses,
and the public domain, and use sites that
by definition say Yes to use. Prerequisite:
51101 or 54101/11 or equivalent experience.

Learn how to create an account, find Face-
book Friends, and manage your account
settings and privacy on Facebook. Discover
how to navigate your News Feed and Time-

quality improvement process for your site.

Introduction to Color Grading
Get an introduction to DaVinci Resolve,
whether you’re an experienced colorist or a
first time user. Learn the operational side of
Resolve along with some practical real world
training on workflows, color theory, grading
approaches and techniques. Students are
encouraged to download Resolve Lite and
become familiar with the interface prior to
the start of class. Prerequisite: 56101 and

with any non-linear editing software. Sug-

Get an introduction to app based multi-track
audio recording, synthesizers, drum ma-
chines, audio effects, audio mastering, and
midi control. Learn about different iOS periph-
eral audio/midi hardware compatibility, how
to integrate the iPad into a more standard
computer recording setup, as well as how to
do it all “inside the box” and on the go. Key
apps demonstrated: Auria, Garageband, An-
imoog, Tabletop, Audiobus, and Final Touch.
