Conducts regular supervision to identify key
principles & concepts that teachers need to learn as
part of a core curriculum in any subject domain.

THE TEACHER
•A teacher is a curriculum maker. He writes curriculum
daily through a lesson plan, unit plan or yearly plan.
•Teacher addresses the goals, needs & interests of the
learner by creating experiences from where the students
can learn.
•Teacher designs, enriches and modifies the curriculum to
suit the learners characteristics.
•Teachers are part of textbook committee, faculty
selection boards, school evaluation committees or
textbook writers themselves.
•Teachers are architects of school curriculum
•Teachers share their experiences with colleagues
& seek feedback on their performance.
•Teachers work collaboratively.
They supervise curriculum implementation, select and
recruit new teachers, admit students, procure equipments and
materials needed for effective learning.
Ensures that the college curriculum committee schedules its
meetings and follows university policies on curriculum
change.
ROLE OF ADMINISTRATORS

They have privilege to command but at the same time to lead the
institution.

STATUTORY BODIES:
It is a body/organization set up by law which is
authorized to enforce legislation on behalf of
relevant country or state.
ROLE OF STATUTORY BODIES
It has an advisory role. It has bodies like INC
that helps in developing necessary guidelines
for development of curriculum, instructional &
evaluation materials, text books etc.
Role of The Union Government:
•University reviews each programme to determine that it
fulfill the course norms.
•It is involved in assessment & evaluation of curriculum.
•It Sends proposals to ministry of education to give technical
& professional advice on curriculum.
• It supervises the research work of students.
Role of Universities
•It formulates philosophy, objectives and framework of all the
courses.
•It gives permission to start or to continue the course in any
collage/school.
•Withdrawal of recognition of nursing institutions.
•Inspection of school/collages to regulate better nursing
practices.
•Gives recognition of qualifications.
•Sets uniform standards of training through out the country.
•Construct syllabus for all nursing programmes.
Role of National Bodies (INC)
It plays a major role in curriculum construction,
implementation, evaluation, research and reconstruction
through their education departments.
It permits the schools/colleges to start and continue the
course.
It is responsible for the proper curriculum development &
implementation in the schools on the basis of leadership
provided by the national bodies.
Role of State Government
Stakeholders are individuals or institution that are interrelated
in the school curriculum. They are the one who put into
action and give life to the curriculum. They shape the school
curriculum implementation
ROLE OF STAKEHOLDERS
• Educational organizations play active role in
planning, developing, evaluating & producing
instructional & evaluation materials, textbooks,
supplementary reading materials etc.
• Reconstructing of curriculum as and when
necessary need arises.
ROLE OF EDUCATION DEPARTMENT:
1.To ensure the educational policies & goals are
properly reflected by the curriculum.
2. Responsible for the realization of the curriculum
