Emergency Medical Technician/ Paramedic They are people who provide immediate care to patients who are sick or injured and transport them to medical facilities. This relates to my interests, because it is a job in the medical field, and it also involves me being the reason why somebody lives.

My Shadowing Experience My shadowing experience was at the Federal Express Junior Achievement conference at Dowling College. At this conference, I learned about the importance of communicating in a work place. We did exercises where we weren’t allowed to communicate with each other. Doing these exercises, I really was able to learn how difficult things can be without communicating with others. I also learned about teamwork. Without teamwork, you won’t get as far in life.
