Bing drinking is defined as a BAC of .08 or higher
{BAC(Blood Alcohol Content)=How much alcohol is in your system
compared to your blood volume}
For Men, a BAC of .08 or more will result after 5 or more drinks
with in a 2 hour period
For Women, a BAC of .08 or more will result after 4 or more
drinks with in a 2 hour period

4. Alcohol Poisoning
Alcohol poisoning commonly is a result of binge drinking due to the
large amount of alcohol consumed in a short period of time.
Signs of alcohol poisoning:
Confusion
Vomiting: extremely dangerous of the person is not fully
conscious because they have the potential to choke on
their own vomit
Slow breathing
Pale skin
Inability to be awakened

1 standard drink is equivalent to:
= 0.6 ounces of pure alcohol
=12 ounces of beer
=8 ounces of liquor
=5 ounces of wine
= or 1.5 ounces (a "shot") of 80-proof liquor
