Trip Tern is a travel planning service founded by Shailendra Sason that automatically creates optimized itineraries for travelers. It considers interests, time constraints, and budgets to book accommodations, activities, and transportation. The global travel industry is growing but customers want more customization when planning trips. Trip Tern aims to take the hassle out of planning by doing all the work for travelers from start to finish. Competitors only provide recommendations rather than optimized solutions and are not fully automatic for all cities. Trip Tern generates revenue from commissions on bookings, advertising, and potential premium subscriptions. It has been developed entirely with internal funding so far.
