2. Dudley Randall He was born in 1914. He is well known for the poetry he has written. The three that I remember the most are: Ballad of Birmingham, Dressed All in Pink and George.

8. Dressed All In Pink This poem was inspired by the tragic event that happened in November 1963. A poem written after the assassination of John F. Kennedy. He called it Dressed All in Pink because Jacqueline Kennedy was dressed in a wool pink suit. He later described the suit as dark red.
