Final Submission Instructions APPLICATIONS INSTRUCTION AND SUBMISSION Assignment 1 (35%): Create and modify a module of teaching English using Moodle (You can modify the one that you have created at www.yoursite.gnomio.com earlier.) Objective: To assess your ability of using ICT in teaching English. You are recommended to 1. demonstrate your technical skills of how to apply Moodle platform in your language teaching teaching (designing a course using Moodle, operating and managing a Moodle-based course and supervising students’ learning....) 2. employ a range of techniques to use Web tools 2.0, (creating, sharing, editing images, audio and videos ...) in your course. Task description: The whole module about teaching English consists of assessed components from Module 1, 2, 3, 4. Marking: Each of the items is submitted by the due date. It is marked according to the criteria in the rubric below. Module 1: Create a Course in www.yoursite.gnomio.com (Assignment 1 – Step 1) Module 2: Create a Hot Potatoes exercise or a Moodle Quiz (Assignment 1 – Step 2) Module 3: Create a story or a Quizlet Vocabulary Set (Assignment 1 – Step 3) Module 4 + Application: Modify the module and add more items to the module (Assignment 1- Step 4) Your products consist of: - A course of English teaching on www.yoursite.gnomio.com including: - Description of the section or topic (if you set your course in topic format) - Added activities and resources (5 at least) such as an assignment, ULR, Forum, Hot Potatoes, Quiz, Page [with embeding media like video or audio ...], Label... - A student account (username and password) of your course (this helps us to sign in your course as a student) - A link to the course BACKUP file on your Google Drive (sharing mode: Anyone with the link can view). ================================================================= Assignment 2 (35%): Feedback on an online course and a lesson plan 1. Objective: To assess your ability as an e-moderator for an online course by analysing a training course and a lesson plan.
  2. Final Submission Instructions 2. Task description: Suppose you are going to teach the course of ICT-in-ELT in a blended mode, choose ONE of the four days of the course and: 2.1. Edit the lesson plan shared with you and explain your changes in a new column (click here to download the original lesson plan or https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yQKVlnbqy72EpPCBr4aRC2fjEoeDuE_EBNh_1vUWhfo /edit?pli=1#gid=0. Remember to highlight the changes. Upload your lesson plan to your Google Drive and share the link (sharing mode: anyone with the link can view/comment). * Assessment requirement: A one day lesson plan being edited includes: - The number of items to be edited in comparison with the original one - Relevant content modified - Relevant sequence of activities - Appropriate timing 2.2. Write an essay (in between 500-700 words) in your Google Docs to explain the changes you made to the contents and to show how to evaluate your students. Share the link (public can view) to that file in this assignment submission. * Assessment requirement: A rationale essay explaining the changes in the lesson plan and the module together with an assessment plan for learners including - seasons for making changes - systematic plan for assessment Products consist of:  A link to your modified lesson plan on Google Drive.  A link to your Google Docs file explaining the changes you made to the contents and how to evaluate your students. Click on the button entitled "Add submission" (at the bottom of this assignment) 5. Paste the followings to into the online text panel: 1. The link to your course in www.yoursite.gnomio.com
