Angelica, S., Emanuele P,. & Luciano, P. (2017). Economic
Development and Wage Inequality: A complex system analysis.
PLoS ONE 12(9): e0182774
This article particularly gives an analysis the characteristics of
the multifaceted connection that exists in wage inequity as well
as the development and industrialization of a given nation. It
shows development as a combination of pecuniary index, gross
domestic product per capita as well as the measure of the
nation’s economic complexity. The article also examines at the
pay inequity on a universal scale. The article presents the wage
inequity beside with the continuing industrial creation of
nations has taken a longitudinally constant pattern. Finally, the
fitness complexity matrix has been summarized in this article
using the two novel application of complex system analysis
(Valentinov, & Chatalova, 2016).
John, F. (2017). From Simplistic to Complex Systems in
Economics, Discussion Paper No 335, School of Economics,
The University of Queensland.
This article brings into attention the applicability of multipart
schemes hypothesis in economics. Complex systems theory in
this article is assessed besides being measured up to customary
looms to monetary hypothesizing which is dependent on forced
optimization. The article defines complex systems in the context
of economics. The article further explains why it becomes
necessary to approach the economic analysis from a network
and not from production and utility function perspective when
dealing with complex systems. The article presents the
challenge of on how to replace the available simplistic
hypothesis that is based on constrained optimization, with
simple hypothesis derived from network representation
(Clayton, & Radcliffe, 2018).
Joeri, S,. (2017). Complexity Economics: Exploring Economics
This article brings into attention the core elements as well as
terms, analysis, as well as conception of economy. The article
presents complexity economics as a study of economic systems
as complex systems. The complexity economists are described
to be studying the emergence of structures as well as the
unfolding of patterns in the economy. The article also describes
the mainstream equilibrium models that have little to add in
financial crisis in terms of policy direction in the current
economy. The economy is also presented in the article as a
complex system which has got, belongs to, as well as overlaps
with other complex systems (Rutter et al, 2017).
Alamoudi D, Kumar A (2017). Information System Complexity
and Business Value: Int J Econ Manag Sci 6: 400
doi:b10.4172/2162.1000400.
The article brings into attention the complexity of information
system as very subjective and impacted by many variations of
individuals, tools, as well as process within the business. The
article notes that any slight shift in the components that forms
the system complexity will heavily impact on the intended
outcome results. The complexity theory as well as its
components has been discussed in this article besides discussing
the various techniques that are suggested to curb information
system complexity as well as simplifying the processes in the
business operations. The relationship between that business
system complexity as well as the business performance has also
been highlighted in the article (Asokan, Yarime, & Esteban,
2017).

Your paper(s) needs three elements: What the author(s)
postulates or hypothesizes, the facts presented by the author(s),
and the conclusions of the author(s) based on the facts
presented.
APA requires that each reference be cited, so you must cite your
reference following the author (date) method, or the author and
date in an introductory phrase. Citations and paraphrases must
include a page number in the citation. If you have questions, see

Week 1 Assignment

Than, Ker. "Jacques Cousteau Centennial: What He Did, Why
He Matters." National Geographic Daily News. National
Geographic, 11 June 2010. Web. 25 Mar. 2012.
jacques-cousteau-100th-anniversary-birthday-legacy-google/>.
This article for National Geographic News celebrates would
have been explaining about 100 year birthday of pioneer
Jacques Cousteau. This article is expains about five big
achivements of Cousteau’s: poineering the scuba, making an
deeo underwater video which helped him to bring the ocean to
millions of people by a film, imagining submerged base camps,
confining business whaling, and ceasing the submerged
dumping of atomic waste. The primary concern of the article is
that Cousteau begun as a voyager, not a tree hugger. As he
developed to additionally comprehend the manners in which that
people were hurting the lovely submerged world that he
dedicated his life to investigating, he turned out to be
progressively candid about securing it. He was one of the first
to stand up about sea safeguarding; despite the fact that he
likewise added to hurting sea biological systems prior in his
profession, he wound up as a genuine extremist. This source is
generally regarded in mainstream researchers. These were all the
great achivements of him. A person who sacrifised his life to
show the world what an ocean is. He was a great traveller,
adventoures. As he developed to additionally comprehend the
manners in which that people were hurting the lovely
submerged world that he dedicated his life to investigating, he
turned out to be progressively candid about securing it
This assignment will be one of several throughout your PhD
program that we use to help you prepare for the dissertation
process. One of the core competencies necessary to succeed in a
doctoral program is the ability to identify other research that
pertains to your own. This means you'll have to identify similar
research, read the papers, and assimilate prior work into your
own research. An annotated bibliography helps you develop and
hone these research skills.
This assignment is listed on the syllabus as "Mid-term research
paper" and is worth 10% of your grade. Your paper will be an
annotated bibliography, specifically focusing on the topic of
using simulations for policy making. The papers you select must
address how IT is used to model behavior for policy making.
You paper must be in correct APA format, use correct grammar,
and will need to include at five (5) resources, ALL of which
must:
1) Be current. Published within the last few years.
2) Be peer-reviewed.
3) Relate directly to using simulations for policy making. The
papers you select must address how IT is used to model
behavior for policy making.
USE YOUR OWN WORDS!!!! DO NOT PLAGIARIZE!!!!
Remember that an annotation is not the same as an abstract.
Abstracts are descriptive. Your annotations are to be evaluative
and critical. Give me enough information for me to decide if I'm
interested enough to read the paper, and also how you perceive
the paper. Don't go skimpy on these annotations, but DO NOT
write too much here. Quality is far more important that
quantity. This exercise is for each of you to demonstrate that
you can identify, categorize, and digest multiple research
papers.
Every resource you choose must be peer reviewed. That means
the paper must have undergone a formal peer review before
being published in a journal or presented at a conference. You
must ensure that your resources have undergone rigorous
reviews. In most cases, you can find out the review process for
a conference or journal by visiting the appropriate web site. Do
not simply assume that a resource is peer reviewed - check it
out.
Here are a few URLs with additional information: (I strongly
suggest that you look at these. Really.)

1. Your final research paper assignment is to write a research
paper that explains how Information Technology (IT) promotes
getting people who are affected by policies involved in the
policy-making process. Cite specific examples.
To complete this assignment, upload a Microsoft Word
document (.doc or .docx) that contains your complete paper.
Remember that your paper, including your list of sources, must
be in APA format, and you MUST cite your reference in the
body of the paper using APA in-text citation format. A source is
any paper or article that you will reference in your paper. If you
need more information on APA format (for references list AND
in-text citations), visit this reference:
https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/
This assignment must be YOUR OWN WORK! This is an
individual assignment. Plagiarism detected in your work will
result in a grade of zero for the entire paper.
Here are a few details about the overall research paper Please
look at the attached rubric for details on how the paper will be
graded.
You must reference two (2) peer-reviewed articles or papers
that support your thesis statement. One of these papers may be
from your annotated bibliography assignment. The final paper
must be at least 500 words in length. (DO NOT exceed 500
words by a material amount. Excessive words or too many
references will NOT impress me.)
So in summary, here are the research paper requirements:
2 peer reviewed resources (articles or papers) (1 may be from
your annotated bibliography assignment)
Paper MUST address: How Information Technology (IT)
promotes getting people who are affected by policies involved
in the policy-making process. Cite specific examples.
Cited sources must directly support your paper (i.e. not
incidental references)
At least 500 words in length (but NOT longer than 1000 words)

articles, please visit the following resources:

This means you'll have to identify similar research, read the papers, and assimilate prior work into your own research. An annotated bibliography helps you develop and hone these research skills. This assignment is listed on the syllabus as "Mid-term research paper" and is worth 10% of your grade. Your paper will be an annotated bibliography, specifically focusing on the topic of using simulations for policy making. The papers you select must address how IT is used to model behavior for policy making. You paper must be in correct APA format, use correct grammar, and will need to include at five (5) resources, ALL of which must: 1) Be current. Published within the last few years. 2) Be peer-reviewed. 3) Relate directly to using simulations for policy making. The papers you select must address how IT is used to model behavior for policy making. USE YOUR OWN WORDS!!!! DO NOT PLAGIARIZE!!!! Remember that an annotation is not the same as an abstract. Abstracts are descriptive. Your annotations are to be evaluative and critical. Give me enough information for me to decide if I'm interested enough to read the paper, and also how you perceive the paper. Don't go skimpy on these annotations, but DO NOT write too much here. Quality is far more important that quantity. This exercise is for each of you to demonstrate that you can identify, categorize, and digest multiple research papers. Every resource you choose must be peer reviewed. That means the paper must have undergone a formal peer review before being published in a journal or presented at a conference. You must ensure that your resources have undergone rigorous reviews. In most cases, you can find out the review process for a conference or journal by visiting the appropriate web site. Do not simply assume that a resource is peer reviewed - check it
