Students provided several reasons for learning a language: it is required for their curriculum, it expands their knowledge of other cultures, and increases communication skills. Some positive aspects of learning Italian that students mentioned included enjoying their funny teacher, finding the teachers easy to understand, practicing language with the assistant teacher, participating in fun cooking classes that brought the culture to life, seeing an awesome Italian movie, and finding the various topics like history and geography interesting.

 Like my teacher, she is funny
