My target audience are male and female aged 16-25. This
is because this target audience is usually the audience that
listen to indie/ indie-rock genre of music.


3. The results from my survey have told me that:
 Everyone who answered my questionnaire was 16-25 years old. This is good
because that is the age of my target audience. The majority were female
but there were some males, they are mostly into indie/indie-rock music.
They watch music videos mostly a couple times a week and normally watch
these on TV or Youtube.
 The typical features they expect to see in a indie/indie-rock music video are
people playing instruments such as guitars, indie clothing such as skinny
jeans and slightly unusually placed things.
 Story lines, things that relate to the song and colour are what appeal to
them mostly in a music video.
 There is a 50/50 result to whether they prefer music videos with a
narrative. I think narrative videos are better due to them helping you
understand the lyrics more and add meaning, these are the reasons I got
from my questionnaire as well.
 My results tell me that more than once location is preferred within a music
video.

Within my music video I will make sure that I use more than
one location. I Will create a video with a narrative to help
understand the lyrics more and add meaning. I will show
indie clothing and maybe some instruments to still keep in
the typical features of an indie/indie-rock music video. I will
add colour and things that link to the video.
