He earned the salutatorian title at high school and obtained scholarships like the Freed Foundation, Garden State Scholarship and George Link Business Scholarship. He holds a doctorate degree in Administration and Supervision from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey.

3. A certified teacher, Thomas has certification in different teaching areas including Nursery School, Social Studies, Business studies and Elementary School. After completing his studies, he taught Social Studies and also introduced new programs including a special buddy program.
