Surrounded by towering peaks at an arm length Manali is very near to the snowline. The road lined
with lush apple orchards leads to this picturesque city. This is a popular honeymoon destination and
trailhead for numerous treks as well as a great countryside ideal for adventure sport lovers.
• Manali literally means the 'Home of Manu'. Manu is the
mythological character who is supposed to have survived when
the world was drowned in Flood. He then came to Manali and
recreated human life. Thus, the area of Manali is sacred and
Hindus treat the temples over here as pilgrimage.
• Manali is a hill station situated in the Himachal Pradesh near the
northern end of the Kullu Valley. It is located about 250 km
north of Shimla and 108 km from Mandi.

4. Manali
The various places which are visited by the tourists in
Manali are Hadimba or Dhungri Temple; Manu temple-
this temple was built in the memory of sage Manu,
Museum of Traditional Himachal Culture, Gompas or
Buddhist Monastries. The nearby places to manali are
Vashishth, Jagatsukh, Solang valley, Udaipur, Kothi,
Triloknath, Manikaran, Rohtang pass, etc.
The city is famous for various adventurous activities like
skiing, hiking, mountaineering, paragliding, rafting,
trekking, kayaking and mountain biking, etc. It is one of
the preferred options for the tourists every year.

6. Day I & II – Nahan and Shimla
Day 1: Delhi - Nahan
(Distance: 255 Km, Travel Time 5:30 Hrs)
(Sonipath-Panipath-Karnal-Jagadri-Pontasahib-Nahan )
• Start your day early where you will be greeted by the core team
member of The Other Home and the members who would be leading
the tour. After formal meet and greet and discussion about the trip,
Kick your bike towards Nahan. The journey between Delhi to Nahan is
approx. 5:30 Hrs drive.
• Check in at a beautiful camping site, Nestling Meadows. Dinner and
overnight stay at camp.
• Day trip options: Renuka Lake, Fossil Park, Haripur Dhar, Paonta Sahib,
Badholia Temple Waterfall, The Jalal River Bed, Renuka Zoo etc.
Day 2: Nahan – Shimla
(Distance: 140 Km, Travel Time : 2:30 Hrs)
(Solan-kandaghat-shimla )
• Morning after breakfast hit the rugged village roads of Panjhal leading
to SH2 Highway to Solan. Enjoy the charming scenery on the way and
drive to Shimla via Kandaghat. . Arrive and transfer to property. Over
Night Stay.

7. Day III & IV – Manali
Day 3: Shimla – Manali
(Distance: 252 Km; Travel Time: 5.5 Hrs)
(Bilaspur-Mandi-Kullu-Manali )
• After breakfast it’s time to kickoff your motorcycle journey ahead.
Enjoy the charming scenery on the way to Manali via above route.
Upon arrival check-in into the beautiful property . In evening, visit
Mall Road and markets there. Overnight stay at Property.
Day 4: Manali
• After breakfast gear yourself to explore the serene beauty of Manali.
Spend your whole day in visiting Hadimba Temple, Buddhist
Monastery, Vashisth Hot Sulphur Spring, Rohtang Pass, Solang Valley,
Club House, Van Vihar,Manu temple,Mall Road, Nehru Kund , Kothai ,
Gulaba , Rahala Fall , Marhi , Rani Nala, Manikaran Sahib etc

8. Day V & VI – Chandigarh & Delhi

Day 6 : Chandigarh - Delhi
