2. Before many many years two mice
lived.
The one mouse made its house in the
field and the other in a rich house.

3. The two mice met and the house-mouse
visited the field-mouse who
gave him the best coffee and the
best plant roots to eat.

4. The house-mouse said:
-This food is not for mice. It is for
ants. Let’s go to my house and I’ll give
you food for kings.

5. When they arrived
at the cellar of the
house, before
sitting to eat, the
house-mouse
showed his friend
around.

6. Then, they took a piece of
cheese and started to eat.
But there was a servant in
the house. Suddenly he
opened the door and
entered the cellar. The
terrified house-mouse,
left the food and ran to
hide in the nest he had in a
wall.

7. But the field-mouse
used to the tranquility
at nature, didn’t know
what to do and froze
out of fear.
When the servant
left, the house-mouse
came out of his nest
and said:

8. -Let’s go on with our
food.
Then, the field-mouse
with wisdom, replied:
I’m going back home. I
prefer to eat humble
and be quiet rather
than like a king and
not be quiet for a
moment.
