Info Slides about the active sun, solar-flare forecasting and space weather. We use them at public events as a part of the FLARECAST public engagement programme. Some presentations have been designed for workshops that involve hands-on activities and/or citizen science. We reach people between five and eighty years old. FLARECAST - Flare Likelihood And Region Eruption foreCASTing - is a research project aiming to develop a fully automated solar-flare forecasting system with an unmatched accuracy compared to existing facilities. It has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 640216, 2015 - 2017.
