The Tanzanian Marsupial Wolf was an extinct carnivorous marsupial that lived in the mountains of northern Australia until it disappeared in 1828. It hunted other animals as well as sheep, leading humans to destroy the population. It was related to the Tasmanian Wolf and had dangerous teeth as an apex predator in its ecosystem.
