 Generated £7.9m in bottom-line savings for Scottish Water through process improvements,

 Coached and mentored a client team member to gain promotion from back office data entry role to
an internal change manager position in nine months to ensure continued sustainable change.
 Delivered over £3m in bottom-line savings for CPA Ltd through reducing process complexity (65%
of process steps removed), mitigating business risk (20% of decision points eliminated) and
improved customer response lead-times (>30 days to 3 days).
 Successfully negotiated in excess of £5m savings for Transport for London and delivered
commercial contracts between £50m and £300m associated with the procurement of the Central

deliver a long-term change programme for a global Intellectual Property management service provider on time
and to budget whilst generating £1.6m of fees for Curzon.

2. Transport for London – Congestion Charging (Jan 06 – Jun 07)
Operations Requirements Manager (Public Sector Procurement)
 Built a team of 12 Analysts and managed 10 external IT Consultants to plan and co-ordinate their activities
with regards the delivery of the business operations and enforcement operations requirements, and process
improvements to ensure the tender documentation was accurate and thoroughly prepared.
 Managed the entire Competitive Dialogue procurement process from putting out the tender, to bidder selection
through to solution development, contract terms and commercial negotiations.
 Negotiated the central London congestion charging contract with a value of £300m for TfL using OJEU
procurement process.
 Led pricing and costing negotiations helping TfL to generate savings in excess of £5m.
 Mitigated risk to ensure a complex tender process was met on time and to budget through accurate project
planning and effective leadership.
 Developed excellent working relationships with suppliers, external service providers and internal stakeholders
Celerant Consulting (Operational & Behavioural Change Consultancy) (Sept 04 – Jan 06)
Project Manager (promoted from Senior Consultant after 9 months)
• Contributed to the Celerant training academy, providing new employees with training on change, lean and

• Coached and mentored clients “rising stars”, transferring a consulting skill-set and delivered training sessions
to help ensure successful change was implemented and that the project remained sustainable once the project

• Successfully designed and implemented a company-wide business management system (meetings, KPI’s,

manufacturer.
• Built relationships with key decision makers to ensure project continuation which helped generate revenues of
