The GEBZE OSMANGAZİ PRIMARY SCHOOL was first established in the 1930s as the 'Merkez İlkokulu' around Gölcüönü and moved to its present building in 1959. It was renamed the Osmangazi Primary School in 1997-1998 and now has 14 classrooms, a computer lab, and multi-purpose hall, serving around 1069 students with a staff of a headmaster, two deputy headmasters and 33 teachers.

İlkokulu’ in the 1930s around Gölcüönü.
In 1959 the school moved to its present
building.

name ‘Osmangazi Primary School’ within the
framework of transition to 8-year education.

computer class and a multi-purpose hall
provides double-time teaching.

8. • The school starts at half past seven for morning
group classes and finishes at half past twelve
then afternoon group students come and study
until half past five.
9. • Each lesson is 40 minutes and each break is 10
minutes except for a 15-minute break.
10. • There are 1069 students and the classes
consist of approximately 35-40 students.
11. • A headmaster, two deputy headmasters and
thirtythree teachers take charge in our school.
