4. Tantra Yukti Prayojana:
1. The purpose of tantra yukti are connecting the sentences,
clarification and appropriation of hidden ideas which can be
achieved through
1. Vaakya Yojana
2. Artha Yojana
Vaakya Yojana:
Means meaningful arrangement of sentences which are
spread. Yoga, Uddesha and Nirdesha etc are useful for
Vaakya Yojana.

5. Artha Yojana:
Appropriation of hidden and apparently inappropriate
meanings is Artha Yojana. Adhikarana, padartha etc are
used for artha yojana.

7. Tantra Yukti is one of most important tool to understand
shastra then why it is explained at the end of samhita
(Cha Chi 12th, Sushrutha Uttar 65th, Astanga Sangraha
Uttar 50th)?
1. The first commentator of charaka samhita, bhatta Harish
Chandra who wrote Charaka Nyasa, explained Tantra
Yukti immediately after Mangalacharana. As he said for
better understanding of shastra one should be well versed
in Tantra Yukti.
2. Arundatta, Commentator of Ashtangrudhaya says first
one should byheart the shastra then manana, chintana
and at last Tantra Yukti should be learnt. Hence here
he is supporting the fact the Tantra Yukti should be
explained at the last.

8. Importance of Tantra Yukti:
Just as the sun blows cluster of lotus and lighted lamp
lights the inside of a room at their best, so does the Tantra
Yukti and help to understand the science fully and
correctly.
