  1. The expectations of the end user has been changing, redefining the demands made on Service Providers the world-over
  2. Whilst the telco’s network and IT infrastructure are still core assets, it needs to reflect on the metrics competitors and those in adjacent markets are using to measure success. Metrics are less unit-based and more value-based, and sustainability and a longer-term plan are now particularly important.
  3. We started with SBC in 2005 with a strategic relationship and have had an explosive growth in the account today with over 3300 associates working on the account in every segment of ATT business. As SBC has transformed in to ATT with all their acquisitions we have been a strategic partner working in merger led initiatives and in helping ATT succeed on some of their key business initiatives. In the consumer business, today we are a key player in IT application s for legacy voice, Uverse and Mobility. In legacy voice IT applications where the focus is for opex reduction and application consolidation we have done a complete offshoring and vendor consolidation, replacing vendors such as Infosys, Accenture. In Uverse we have been a partner for testing the CRM, Billing, SDP layer right from R1. Our ability and approach to do automation, ability to manage defects and to do integration testing has reduced the time to release for the Uverse IT platform. We were also involved in monitoring the flow thru and in pushing thru the order fallouts. In the mobility space we have been involved in revenue assurance, provisioning of services and in the integration of of a single portal for wireline and wireless. We partner with ATT for the MyWorld initiative to develop a customized portal. Tech Mahindra: Presence across Consumer, Enterprise and Mobility Only vendor to provide services across all user segments and to be involved in merger projects with every acquisition in last 4 years Currently the largest Indian IT supplier in spite of being the last to enter Largest offshore partner for testing services Key role in strategic programs for Next Gen Services, Enterprise Services, Online Services Unique Offshore Operations Center to manage IT Ops & Handset device testing Lab enabling faster time to market:
  4. All IP Vision : End-to-End IP Services over Broadband delivered via FTTX. Voice, Video, data, chat, messaging application delivered over IP broadband network. Tech Mahindra as strategic OSS Partner OpEx Reduction by Vendor Rationalization : Taking over OSS platform from existing teams. TCO reduction : Thought Leadership for migrating from legacy to next generation systems Maximizing Reuse and Automation: Synergizing the Legacy estate and building the strategic stack to deliver FTTP solution. Introducing automation during various SDLC phases to reduce the overall release time. Strengthened the Fiber OSS Application Chain through Performance Engineering Application Scalability Proactive Monitoring Application Roadmap Preparation Triggers: Transforming their legacy OSS systems, into a Next Generation OSS stack : Delays in delivering various releases including the ones of Business Markets 100+ team, largely contractors, 4 contributing vendors, no strategic SI. Productions Issues like NFR, excessive manual fallouts, CE, throughput etc.
