• Pinks song ‘Just like fire’ was featured
in Alice through the looking glass and
the music video has direct references
to the film. This is something I would
like to do with my video.
• There is flashes of ‘reality’ which are
harsher images, this is also something
I would like to do in my video.
• There are lots of flash changes and
zoom in camera angles, this makes
the whole video seem more haptic,
and directly reflects the adventures of
the film.
• I like these of a child to symbolise the
innocence of the movie, and want to
use that in my video.

• Brief biographical background: Shinedown is an American band
formed by Brent Smith in 2001, the starting line up consisted
of Smith, Jasin Todd, Brad Stewart and Barry Kerch. In the later
2000s the line up changed to consist of Smith, Kerch and new
comers Zach Myers and Eric Bass. Releasing a total of 5 albums
since the bands creation with their latest one, Threat to
Survival, being released in 2015.
• Links to other artists: associated bands are that of Fuel with
Jasin Todd joining their line up in 2010.
