What Is The Ending Of The Tragedy Of Macbeth
The tragedy of MacBeth has a disappointing ending, that ruins the whole film and poem.It has a
great storyline until the end. It hypes but this big ending about the main character MacBeth dying
to someone who is " not born from a women" and that he will die when the forest moves into his
castle. At the end, the author reveals that all he meant was that the forest was going to get chopped
down by the enemy's army and be used as cover to sneak into the castle. MacBeth still know he can
only be killed by someone who is "not born from a women" so when he gets confronted my

Short Story Happy Ending
The short story "Happy Ending" is an example of fiction which provides great storytelling. The
short story gives six different versions on how and what happy endings mean .First I will compare
several versions of each plot. Then I will discuss how these plots have an effect on the couples.
Finally I'll address the how's and why's we define happy endings. With different versions comes with
great beginnings and end with the same ending. You have the same characters shown in several
different scenarios which leads to question how do you want your happiness to end. Each character
eventually parish with one thing in common Love. . It provides a layout of relationships,
marriages, and lust between couples. The short stories provide a visual of happy endings between
the two sexes. It gives you a stereotype of both men and woman to engage readers towards both
points of views. I noticed in the first plot Margaret uses the word stimulating and challenging several
time in this passage. When reading at first I thought this is definitely me the happy life in my eyes.
After taking another look the phrase really means boring to the point that we don't realize how
uninvited we both are in the marriage. Couple A may indeed be happy, however their happiness
doesn't reflect well in the passage. They enjoy their career, start a family, but the spark in their
marriage is gone. Unlike situation A Mary is trying to have relationship with John however, he only
sees her as a sex slave.

The Lottery Alternate Ending
The End. They called my name I walked to the center of the circle. Mr. Summers announced "It's
Tessie." I could see my life flash before my eyes. I saw the days my children were born I saw the
day I walked down the aisle with my floor–length gown. I hear myself saying "I do", then my mind
goes black; however only one word remains flashing red in the recesses of my brain "death" I
quickly realized that The Lottery is not a fair game, but thank the lord my children were spared. I
yell out into the mass "It's not fair, it's not fair", but not a soul responds to my relentless agonizing
screams of mercy. I deliberately crawl along a slow as I can towards center circle; still no one who

The Messenger Ending Analysis
What an amazing and so basic ending to a very strange book! I assumed something like that would
end up happening, both Audrey and Ed get married or something bizarre happens. In the end
though I predicted right! Looking back at the beginning of the term, I thought that Audrey and Ed
would get married or something romantically would happen, and it did indeed happen. I really
liked how Zusak handled who exactly the messenger was, instead of having a messenger Ed was
the message. I did though really enjoy the ending and loved how everything happened. In the
beginning I didn't think I was going to enjoy the book but I really did like it and thought it was very
interesting! Having the location in Australia was interesting, I thought it was cool

Life Of Pi Ending Essay
Have you ever read a fascinating book only to have the ending ruin everything? The ending is very
important in the effectiveness of a work of literature. An effective and appropriate ending is
conclusive and answers some questions the reader might have had. It leaves the reader satisfied that
they were able to fully understand the meaning of the story. An ineffective and inappropriate ending
is not very conclusive and raises further questions that the reader might have not had before. It could
contradict what had been happening throughout the whole novel. The ending of Life of Pi, written by
Yann Martel, is once such ending. It was ineffective in concluding the novel and made the reader
wonder whether the events that the protagonists experienced...show more content...
While a satisfactory ending does not require it to be conclusive in every sense and might need the
reader to accept ambiguity and uncertainty, the novel still does not have a proper ending. There is
simply confusion as to which of the two stories to by Pi is true. The first story in magnificent and
unrealistic while the second story is brutal and realistic. It might seem obvious that the second story
is what actually happened, but Pi's actions and dialogue leaves a sense of confusion. Life of Pi's
ending might be appropriate to those who like being kept wondering what actually happened in
reality, but to those as myself who do not, it ruins the sentiment and magnificence of the whole

Egyptian Pyramids Conclusion
The Egyptian pyramids are the most fascinating ancient wonders of the world, and perhaps forever
will be. These brilliant structures have stood on earth for a very long time and yet no one can truly
explain their origin. The pyramids have in–trigued thousands of scientists and historians, and they
have pushed man's imagination. Conspiracies have claimed to obtain the true knowledge of the
pyramid's creation. The human mind is in awe of such a mystery and it is amazing. Life in Egypt was
fairly simple, mostly everyone was a farmer with a small plot of land along the Nile. They would
tend to their crops and cattle, trying their best to support themselves. Egypt was ruled over by
pharaohs from 3000 and 1100 B.C., and with the Nile such a dependent resource throughout the
land, it was quite easy for the pharaohs to use as a source of control. Egyptian's considered death
as the first step to a new life in a new world. Egyptians believed that as well as a physical body,
everyone had a soul called a ba and a spiritual duplicate known as a ka. Therefore, when an
individual died, that person's ba continued living on Earth and would rest at night within the body.
Corpses were usually mummified as it was believed that the eternal after life was dependent on the
ba and ka being able to identify the body. Egyptians usually would build their houses out of mud and
their tombs out of stone, to represent the short life humans have on Earth and the ever–lasting after
life (Macaulay 5).

How to End a Relationship... Essay
Relationships is a step that two people take since they connected in a romantic way. For some, it
might seem far away, but others can't wait for it to end. Some signs to know you're on a failed
relationship could be lack of respect, no time for each other, can't find common ground, tired of
the same routine and bickering and fighting. Those were some signs that some can be solved but
mostly is of a failed relationship. Ending a relationship isn't as simple as it looks, since there was
love or some wouldn't admit it but at least they cared for each other. One of the reasons you might
be reading this is because you want some guidance or advice, and that's why we recommend you
keep reading.
If you're still considering your relationship and...show more content...
Try not to be cruel, be honest, don't say things that might confuse or hurt like bringing back the
past or the reasons why you want to end it. Be prepared for any reaction, the dumped can react
since he or she didn't see it coming. You should try to be comforting but not too attach but also
don't just storm out of there. For both of you to have a chance to move on, you should avoid each
other and if you have each other's thing try to sort it out so you both won't have an argument. The
best lesson of a failed relationship is to learn from it and don't let it repeat it. Also know when to
walk away, why be bickering about a lost cause. After the break up don't try to stay friends, you
wanted to end it for a reason so why go back when you can keep moving forward. Take some time
for yourself since not everyone understands that the one who broke up is also in pain as the one
who was dumped. Because you're the one taking "the bullet" and it's true since you might feel guilt
and even though you want to go and party to try to feel alive and free of everything, it's better to go
to places you feel comfortable.
Just because you got off the horse doesn't mean you need to get back up after the break up. Since
both of you took time apart it helps with the healing process. Don't try to start dating quickly,
remember "if it's meant to be, it's meant to be". Now that you're single you should change things
like a new look or set new goals and be happy. Don't be stuck in the past

Romeo And Juliet Ending Essay
Romeo and Juliet both played a part in their ending but they were not the only people who helped
turn the romance into tragedy. The two characters, although being enemies, decided to be
together. Although they did not know their story would end up at the level of tragedy that it did,
they knew the story would not have a happy ending. "An glooming peace this morning with it
brings. The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head. Go hence, to have more talk of these sad
things. Some shall be pardoned and some punished. For never was an story of more woe. Than this
of Juliet and her Romeo." (Act 5 Scene 3, Page 256) This quote shows the lasting effects and the
level of tragedy these two caused with their love. The town that had been separated for...show more

Friar Laurence played a huge part in the ending of this story. Friar is introduced in the story by
romeo when he goes to the wise man for help with Juliet. Friar tells Romeo "Go wisely and
slowly. Those who rush stumble and fall." Friar says this to romeo after he comes to Friar, asking
him to marry him and his love, juliet, whom he met the night before at a party. Friar knows
Romeo is acting foolishly but he has an inkling that the marriage may help the two families heal.
He does in fact marry them, knowing it is wrong. He then proceeds to give Juliet an sedative and
an plan to get out of marrying Paris. Juliet is to take the sedative and Friar is to send a message to
Romeo that he must come save her. The message gets stuck and it sends the story into an
spiraling downfall. After Juliet and Romeo's bodies are found, dead by suicide, Friar was left
with a lot of explaining to do. Friar played a tremendous role in the conclusion of the young kids
lives. The notorious question: Was the ending of Romeo and Juliet decided by fate, with the stars
perfectly aligned against the two, coming to an unexpected end? Or was it decided by the
characters and their choices? There are many examples of how all of the characters choices came
together in the end to form a butterfly effect. The main characters in this story sadly caused their
own romance to turn

that occurs too often or for too long can cause problems. It can affect your emotional health and
interfere with relationships and normal daily activities. Too much stress can weaken your immune

Ending Homelessness Essay
Homelessness is a growing epidemic across the country. This terrible misfortune has led to many
unsuspecting people leading impoverished lifestyles, and facing the horrific and heart–wrenching
tragedy of abandonment. The purpose of this essay is to not only persuade the readers to get
involved in ending homelessness on local and national efforts, but to embrace new and creative ways
of helping to end this rapidly growing problem, by taking action to end this catastrophic situation.
Also, I will demonstrate the causes and effects of the homeless resorting to violence, by using
comparison and contrast to examine the views and standpoints on helping the forgotten, so that we

It is crucial that we find new and creative ways of helping the homeless, through education,
recreation, religion, and the revamping of homeless shelters. I implore you to help the destitute, so
that we might end this travesty once and for all. To employ to my viewpoint, it is important that you
open you mind to gain a wealth of fascinating information, that will help you to understand that the
homeless should be able to receive an education, in pursuit of a better life. Education is as old as
civilization, and aims at producing intelligent, responsible, well–informed citizens, who take an
active interest in the world around them. Education includes a variety of learning experiences.
Acquiring knowledge, skills, habits, values, and attributes, can better help our homeless to become
useful and productive members of society, and shape their character in hopes that it will remain
with them throughout their lives. Education is more important today than ever before. It provides
them with the specialized training that they will need, to prepare for a job or career. Education also
helps people adjust to change. This benefit has become increasingly important, because social
changes today take place with increasing speed, and affect the lives of a great many people.
Recreation is something that not only gives us pleasure, but also helps to renew or recreate the mind
and body.

The End Of The World Essay

Research paper
The End of the World How will the world end? It has been asked by many different civilizations
over the eons and has almost as many possible endings. Since mankind first started to record
history there have been tales of creation and the end of the world. According to John Black in The
Story of Ragnarok and the Armageddon, "it (the end days) is the 'Judgment Day' described in the
Book of Revelations; in Judaism, it is the Achart hayamin; in Aztec mythology, it is the Legend of
the Five Suns; and in Hindu mythology, it is the Story of Avatars and the Man on the House". (Black)
Some of the stories of how the world might end are happy, joyous tales where the world becomes a
paradise. In other versions, the world ends badly with death and destruction. Some of these stories
have common events and common outcomes even when they are told from civilizations separated
by time and land. I am going to compare two of the most dramatic and cataclysmic ends of the
world; the Armageddon in the Bible's Revelation and Ragnarök in the Old Norse mythology. The
definition of Ragnarok according to the dictionary is the destruction of all things in a final battle
with the evil powers where the gods are destroyed. It is considered a noun and of Scandinavian
Mythology. In comparison, the dictionary definition of Armageddon is also a noun depicting either

Essay On Ending Therapy
Ending Therapy:
Carl and Gus adhere to the typical outlook that the man needs to make a commitment to therapy and
change while the women remains the example of an ideal client. (I understand the systemic issues,
but the counselors have a definite proclivity towards the female clients.)
The counselors insisted that the couple confront their relationship problems because they chose each
other through a remarkable accurate unconscious process that takes account of their mutual needs.
(this seems fantastical to me.)
They admit that the Brice family therapy consisted of two parallel individual therapies instead of
family therapy (263).
One of the leading therapeutic theories that I agree with is the fact that greater individuation in the

believe that I would want the whole family to be present at each session. I want to treat the family
as a unit and let them experience how interconnected their issues are with the identified client. I want
to look at family counseling from a macrolevel in order to address the influences on the family
including the therapy session itself and the counselor's attitudes, beliefs and style. Being upfront and
honest while offering a supportive yet challenging atmosphere is the key for my counseling

Ending Is Better Than Mending Analysis
"Ending is better than mending", this phrase summarizes much of the human existence in general.
Packard uses this phrase as an indoctrination slogan for teachers to tell children. "Ending is better
than mending" doesn't only apply to objects such as the example given at the beginning of chapter
five with throwing away old clothes and getting new ones. The phrase is mentally infectious, causing
people to take it farther than just objects but also people. A husband in a dying marriage might think
ending the marriage is better than mending it. I agree with Packard but not to the extent his vision
reaches. Packard mentions that a can for a product would be more expensive than the product itself.
Non–alcoholic sangria is less expensive than the seven fluid ounce glass bottles they come in. After
you're done drinking the sangria you throw the bottle away since the bottle has no immediate virtual
use to you. You buy Coca–Colas in a twenty–four pack and end up throwing away twenty–four cans,
again, the cans seem to have no use to you and it's not encouraged to make something out of the
cans. What...show more content...
This can be easily avoided with parents raising their children in wise counsel. Resourcefulness
will always silently fight wastefulness but the definitions of the two can be perverted and
manipulated to align with each other. My mother is a spectacular example of a resourceful human
being, she saved the aluminum pins on soda cans for only a few months and made purses out of
them for my sisters. These purses not only have a unique value being how they were created and
what they're made from but also a sentimental value that would keep my sisters from ever getting
any other purse. For this reason people will never become as wasteful to the maximum in the sense
of throwing things away but instead being what is known as a

End of the World Essay examples
Do you expect the world to end? Will humans leave the world to another life form soon? These
questions have plagued man since his inception on this planet. Humans have, in every culture, have
made predictions of how and when the world will end. We have done this either through religion or
just average men or women who say they have the sight to see the future. Do we consider religion
false and seers charlatans? We must first look at the worlds myths about theend of the world, or as is
called from the Greek, apocalypse. We will examine myths from Christianity, Hindu, Norse and
Mayan/Aztec cultures. We will also see if there are any similarities and can they be proven as fact,

destructive wars in Hindu myth are often genocidal in scale, they are driven with the mission of
good triumphing over evil" (Mythology).

The Giver Alternate Ending
The heavy white door of the brightly illuminated log cabin opened up. A man stood in the

Crime And Punishment Ending Essay
Fyodor Dostoyevsky offers a happy ending in his novel "Crime and Punishment", but not the
conventional happy ending where a fortunate event such as marriage happens. He offers moral
development through spiritual reassessment or moral reconciliation. Throughout the novel the
reader is led to believe that the protagonist will have a bad ending however Raskolnikov, the main
character, ends up having a happy ending because he reflects on what he has done and regrets his
crimes.
Raskolnikov reflecting on his mistakes plays a big role in the novel. Throughout the book the
reader grows to learn that Raskolnikov believes he is an extraordinary individual who doesn't
need to follow the law. He often believes that the murder he committed was to benefit mankind
however his confession contradicts this belief. Towards the end of the novel as he begins to reflect
on his crimes, he realizes through the help of Sonya, that he must receive punishment for his

eyes and becomes his inspiration for his actions. Through her suffering and compassion she

Ending a relationship is never an easy thing to do, nor is it an easy situation to be in. When we
realize that some relationships, (whether it's a relationship with a friend or a partner) is not working
out in our favor, this is the time for our relationship to come to a close. To end a relationship we
need to do so with no regrets and no hesitation. We need to end this connection without hate for one
another.
Often times when we try to end a relationship, we end up causing more damage than what we mean
to. We often cause pain of conflict in the other person's lives even though we don't intend to do so.
This can sometimes never be avoided but here are some easy steps to start out with ending a
relationship in a more simpler and better way.
When ending a relationship you want to start by being alone, away from distractions and in a quiet
place. This will give the situation more clarity and be taken more seriously. After doing so you want

Third, just be honest with them, they will understand the situation a lot more if you explain your
point of view. This will also help them with the coping process. Lastly, Have compassion for the
other person as they are going through this time in their life, you never know what they may be
thinking or feeling at this time.
Now you have what it takes to end a relationship of your own. Remember all the steps and also don't
forget that the other person is only human, they have feelings too. When ending a relationship you
must be brave, have compassion, be proud and lastly, reassure yourself why you are doing this, what

It hypes but this big ending about the main character MacBeth dying to someone who is " not born from a women" and that he will die when the forest moves into his castle. At the end, the author reveals that all he meant was that the forest was going to get chopped down by the enemy's army and be used as cover to sneak into the castle. • 2. Short Story Happy Ending The short story "Happy Ending" is an example of fiction which provides great storytelling. The short story gives six different versions on how and what happy endings mean .First I will compare several versions of each plot. Then I will discuss how these plots have an effect on the couples. Finally I'll address the how's and why's we define happy endings. With different versions comes with great beginnings and end with the same ending. You have the same characters shown in several different scenarios which leads to question how do you want your happiness to end. Each character eventually parish with one thing in common Love. . It provides a layout of relationships, marriages, and lust between couples. The short stories provide a visual of happy endings between the two sexes. It gives you a stereotype of both men and woman to engage readers towards both points of views. I noticed in the first plot Margaret uses the word stimulating and challenging several time in this passage. When reading at first I thought this is definitely me the happy life in my eyes. After taking another look the phrase really means boring to the point that we don't realize how uninvited we both are in the marriage. Couple A may indeed be happy, however their happiness doesn't reflect well in the passage. They enjoy their career, start a family, but the spark in their marriage is gone. Unlike situation A Mary is trying to have relationship with John however, he only sees her as a sex slave. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. The Lottery Alternate Ending The End. They called my name I walked to the center of the circle. Mr. Summers announced "It's Tessie." I could see my life flash before my eyes. I saw the days my children were born I saw the day I walked down the aisle with my floor–length gown. I hear myself saying "I do", then my mind goes black; however only one word remains flashing red in the recesses of my brain "death" I quickly realized that The Lottery is not a fair game, but thank the lord my children were spared. I yell out into the mass "It's not fair, it's not fair", but not a soul responds to my relentless agonizing screams of mercy. I deliberately crawl along a slow as I can towards center circle; still no one who tries to stop my awaiting fate. Between my lawless and cacophonous Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. The Messenger Ending Analysis What an amazing and so basic ending to a very strange book! I assumed something like that would end up happening, both Audrey and Ed get married or something bizarre happens. In the end though I predicted right! Looking back at the beginning of the term, I thought that Audrey and Ed would get married or something romantically would happen, and it did indeed happen. I really liked how Zusak handled who exactly the messenger was, instead of having a messenger Ed was the message. I did though really enjoy the ending and loved how everything happened. In the beginning I didn't think I was going to enjoy the book but I really did like it and thought it was very interesting! Having the location in Australia was interesting, I thought it was cool Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Life Of Pi Ending Essay Have you ever read a fascinating book only to have the ending ruin everything? The ending is very important in the effectiveness of a work of literature. An effective and appropriate ending is conclusive and answers some questions the reader might have had. It leaves the reader satisfied that they were able to fully understand the meaning of the story. An ineffective and inappropriate ending is not very conclusive and raises further questions that the reader might have not had before. It could contradict what had been happening throughout the whole novel. The ending of Life of Pi, written by Yann Martel, is once such ending. It was ineffective in concluding the novel and made the reader wonder whether the events that the protagonists experienced...show more content... While a satisfactory ending does not require it to be conclusive in every sense and might need the reader to accept ambiguity and uncertainty, the novel still does not have a proper ending. There is simply confusion as to which of the two stories to by Pi is true. The first story in magnificent and unrealistic while the second story is brutal and realistic. It might seem obvious that the second story is what actually happened, but Pi's actions and dialogue leaves a sense of confusion. Life of Pi's ending might be appropriate to those who like being kept wondering what actually happened in reality, but to those as myself who do not, it ruins the sentiment and magnificence of the whole Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Egyptian Pyramids Conclusion The Egyptian pyramids are the most fascinating ancient wonders of the world, and perhaps forever will be. These brilliant structures have stood on earth for a very long time and yet no one can truly explain their origin. The pyramids have in–trigued thousands of scientists and historians, and they have pushed man's imagination. Conspiracies have claimed to obtain the true knowledge of the pyramid's creation. The human mind is in awe of such a mystery and it is amazing. Life in Egypt was fairly simple, mostly everyone was a farmer with a small plot of land along the Nile. They would tend to their crops and cattle, trying their best to support themselves. Egypt was ruled over by pharaohs from 3000 and 1100 B.C., and with the Nile such a dependent resource throughout the land, it was quite easy for the pharaohs to use as a source of control. Egyptian's considered death as the first step to a new life in a new world. Egyptians believed that as well as a physical body, everyone had a soul called a ba and a spiritual duplicate known as a ka. Therefore, when an individual died, that person's ba continued living on Earth and would rest at night within the body. Corpses were usually mummified as it was believed that the eternal after life was dependent on the ba and ka being able to identify the body. Egyptians usually would build their houses out of mud and their tombs out of stone, to represent the short life humans have on Earth and the ever–lasting after life (Macaulay 5). • 7. How to End a Relationship... Essay Relationships is a step that two people take since they connected in a romantic way. For some, it might seem far away, but others can't wait for it to end. Some signs to know you're on a failed relationship could be lack of respect, no time for each other, can't find common ground, tired of the same routine and bickering and fighting. Those were some signs that some can be solved but mostly is of a failed relationship. Ending a relationship isn't as simple as it looks, since there was love or some wouldn't admit it but at least they cared for each other. One of the reasons you might be reading this is because you want some guidance or advice, and that's why we recommend you keep reading. If you're still considering your relationship and...show more content... Try not to be cruel, be honest, don't say things that might confuse or hurt like bringing back the past or the reasons why you want to end it. Be prepared for any reaction, the dumped can react since he or she didn't see it coming. You should try to be comforting but not too attach but also don't just storm out of there. For both of you to have a chance to move on, you should avoid each other and if you have each other's thing try to sort it out so you both won't have an argument. The best lesson of a failed relationship is to learn from it and don't let it repeat it. Also know when to walk away, why be bickering about a lost cause. After the break up don't try to stay friends, you wanted to end it for a reason so why go back when you can keep moving forward. Take some time for yourself since not everyone understands that the one who broke up is also in pain as the one who was dumped. Because you're the one taking "the bullet" and it's true since you might feel guilt and even though you want to go and party to try to feel alive and free of everything, it's better to go to places you feel comfortable. Just because you got off the horse doesn't mean you need to get back up after the break up. Since both of you took time apart it helps with the healing process. Don't try to start dating quickly, remember "if it's meant to be, it's meant to be". Now that you're single you should change things like a new look or set new goals and be happy. Don't be stuck in the past Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Romeo And Juliet Ending Essay Romeo and Juliet both played a part in their ending but they were not the only people who helped turn the romance into tragedy. The two characters, although being enemies, decided to be together. Although they did not know their story would end up at the level of tragedy that it did, they knew the story would not have a happy ending. "An glooming peace this morning with it brings. The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head. Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things. Some shall be pardoned and some punished. For never was an story of more woe. Than this of Juliet and her Romeo." (Act 5 Scene 3, Page 256) This quote shows the lasting effects and the level of tragedy these two caused with their love. The town that had been separated for...show more content... Friar Laurence played a huge part in the ending of this story. Friar is introduced in the story by romeo when he goes to the wise man for help with Juliet. Friar tells Romeo "Go wisely and slowly. Those who rush stumble and fall." Friar says this to romeo after he comes to Friar, asking him to marry him and his love, juliet, whom he met the night before at a party. Friar knows Romeo is acting foolishly but he has an inkling that the marriage may help the two families heal. He does in fact marry them, knowing it is wrong. He then proceeds to give Juliet an sedative and an plan to get out of marrying Paris. Juliet is to take the sedative and Friar is to send a message to Romeo that he must come save her. The message gets stuck and it sends the story into an spiraling downfall. After Juliet and Romeo's bodies are found, dead by suicide, Friar was left with a lot of explaining to do. Friar played a tremendous role in the conclusion of the young kids lives. The notorious question: Was the ending of Romeo and Juliet decided by fate, with the stars perfectly aligned against the two, coming to an unexpected end? Or was it decided by the characters and their choices? There are many examples of how all of the characters choices came together in the end to form a butterfly effect. The main characters in this story sadly caused their own romance to turn Get more content on HelpWriting.net

The purpose of this essay is to not only persuade the readers to get involved in ending homelessness on local and national efforts, but to embrace new and creative ways of helping to end this rapidly growing problem, by taking action to end this catastrophic situation. Education is as old as civilization, and aims at producing intelligent, responsible, well–informed citizens, who take an active interest in the world around them. Education includes a variety of learning experiences. Acquiring knowledge, skills, habits, values, and attributes, can better help our homeless to become useful and productive members of society, and shape their character in hopes that it will remain with them throughout their lives. • 11. The End Of The World Essay Ethan Retland November 4, 2014 World religions Research paper The End of the World How will the world end? It has been asked by many different civilizations over the eons and has almost as many possible endings. Since mankind first started to record history there have been tales of creation and the end of the world. According to John Black in The Story of Ragnarok and the Armageddon, "it (the end days) is the 'Judgment Day' described in the Book of Revelations; in Judaism, it is the Achart hayamin; in Aztec mythology, it is the Legend of the Five Suns; and in Hindu mythology, it is the Story of Avatars and the Man on the House". (Black) Some of the stories of how the world might end are happy, joyous tales where the world becomes a paradise. In other versions, the world ends badly with death and destruction. Some of these stories have common events and common outcomes even when they are told from civilizations separated by time and land. I am going to compare two of the most dramatic and cataclysmic ends of the world; the Armageddon in the Bible's Revelation and RagnarГ¶k in the Old Norse mythology. The definition of Ragnarok according to the dictionary is the destruction of all things in a final battle with the evil powers where the gods are destroyed. It is considered a noun and of Scandinavian Mythology. In comparison, the dictionary definition of Armageddon is also a noun depicting either the last battle between good and evil before the Day of Judgment in Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Essay On Ending Therapy Ending Therapy: Carl and Gus adhere to the typical outlook that the man needs to make a commitment to therapy and change while the women remains the example of an ideal client. (I understand the systemic issues, but the counselors have a definite proclivity towards the female clients.) The counselors insisted that the couple confront their relationship problems because they chose each other through a remarkable accurate unconscious process that takes account of their mutual needs. (this seems fantastical to me.) They admit that the Brice family therapy consisted of two parallel individual therapies instead of family therapy (263). One of the leading therapeutic theories that I agree with is the fact that greater individuation in the marriage and the increased...show more content... I appreciated the forum with its acknowledgment of different styles of therapy and treatment. I believe that I would want the whole family to be present at each session. I want to treat the family as a unit and let them experience how interconnected their issues are with the identified client. I want to look at family counseling from a macrolevel in order to address the influences on the family including the therapy session itself and the counselor's attitudes, beliefs and style. Being upfront and honest while offering a supportive yet challenging atmosphere is the key for my counseling Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Ending Is Better Than Mending Analysis "Ending is better than mending", this phrase summarizes much of the human existence in general. Packard uses this phrase as an indoctrination slogan for teachers to tell children. "Ending is better than mending" doesn't only apply to objects such as the example given at the beginning of chapter five with throwing away old clothes and getting new ones. The phrase is mentally infectious, causing people to take it farther than just objects but also people. A husband in a dying marriage might think ending the marriage is better than mending it. I agree with Packard but not to the extent his vision reaches. Packard mentions that a can for a product would be more expensive than the product itself. Non–alcoholic sangria is less expensive than the seven fluid ounce glass bottles they come in. After you're done drinking the sangria you throw the bottle away since the bottle has no immediate virtual use to you. You buy Coca–Colas in a twenty–four pack and end up throwing away twenty–four cans, again, the cans seem to have no use to you and it's not encouraged to make something out of the cans. What...show more content... This can be easily avoided with parents raising their children in wise counsel. Resourcefulness will always silently fight wastefulness but the definitions of the two can be perverted and manipulated to align with each other. My mother is a spectacular example of a resourceful human being, she saved the aluminum pins on soda cans for only a few months and made purses out of them for my sisters. These purses not only have a unique value being how they were created and what they're made from but also a sentimental value that would keep my sisters from ever getting any other purse. For this reason people will never become as wasteful to the maximum in the sense of throwing things away but instead being what is known as a Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 15. End of the World Essay examples Do you expect the world to end? Will humans leave the world to another life form soon? These questions have plagued man since his inception on this planet. Humans have, in every culture, have made predictions of how and when the world will end. We have done this either through religion or just average men or women who say they have the sight to see the future. Do we consider religion false and seers charlatans? We must first look at the worlds myths about theend of the world, or as is called from the Greek, apocalypse. We will examine myths from Christianity, Hindu, Norse and Mayan/Aztec cultures. We will also see if there are any similarities and can they be proven as fact, for prediction of any event is speculative at best. Let us...show more content... A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up" (NIV, 1999). In the end God and Christ bring heaven to earth and those who believed in them will inherent the earth, newly restored. We can see that the world as we know it will be destroyed and then this prophecy gives hope that there will be a new beginning. This destruction and reformation of the world is also prevalent in Islamic and Judaism culture. Another cultural myth is the Wars of Hindumythology. In the Hindu teachings, The Wars of Hindu mythology depict great heroes and demons in combat of universal magnitude, overflowing with the tremendous power of celestial weapons, religious theology, the unexplained, and mystical beings. "While no Hindu epic or scripture fails to describe the horrors of war and its fallout, major wars are fought with a religious purpose: often to eliminate demonic beings, or lords and rulers who pursue war wantonly for ambition and domination. The most destructive wars in Hindu myth are often genocidal in scale, they are driven with the mission of good triumphing over evil" (Mythology). Get more content on HelpWriting.net

"The community broke into complete chaos. Everybody and everything was out of order. When the wave of painful memories hit, the people dropped to the floor and held their heads in excruciating pain. • 17. Alternate Ending Of A Short Story Essay Pendragon's hammer struck the iron handle of his chisel one last time. As the subdued clink of metal on metal reverberated through the room, a single sliver of ivory fell from the masterpiece. Surveying the now finished harp, Pendragon let a satisfied sigh escape his lips. Like a horse who has pulled loads for a lifetime and has finally been brought to the paddock, contentment settled over him. Years previous, he sailed to Egypt to find the best ivory; he joined caravans of jewel sellers to pick out the finest pieces; he travelled to the gold mines of Persia to purchase the purest ore.
