RCSD is a core enabling application in Scotiabank which woulkd simplify the access of customer credit card related
data to different applications.KQ Application is the KS repository system which Extract, Transform and Load Credit
Card data from KS system (Revolving Credit system Development) to KQ tables. Real time credit transactions that
coming from KS system is transformed and load into KQ Repository.
Customer information related to credit card and the transaction information files will be feed to KQ which is then
processed to load in batch mode. This entire Credit card information will be available for the users and other
applications to get the required data on the mid-tier platform.

automating, centralizing and re allocating some of the Bank’s manual and paper based processes and
introducing the automated business workflows for various internal and external customer service requests in
less cycle of time. The key objective of MRIC is to deliver an end to end solution that enables electronic
processing which is generic and adaptable and able to be configured to accommodate any other reports outside
of the OEI initiative generated by a host / mid-tier application. Leveraging existing DCIW configurability to
achieve standard rapid deployment of business processes and enhancing DCIW capabilities where ever
required.

Bank for legal, regulatory, and fulfillment purposes. The key objectives of OEI are to deliver an application
integration gateway to enable a required set of business process capabilities for processes/documents generated by
applicable applications.

5. Global Trade Platform (GTP) objective is to automate the handling of real time banking transactions with various
Scotia bank back end systems. Trade Hub is the central piece of the emerging Global Trade Finance to process
various messages. The Trade Hub can be thought of as a rule based framework that supports multiple channels, has
numerous services, exchanging many different items over multiple interfaces. The trade hub facilitates interfaces
between TPS and various bank systems and performs data transformation, routing functions and warehousing of
data.
The intention of this application is to provide an integration point between TPS and all the different interfaces it
needs to deal with within the bank. For achieving this processing of Trade finance data related to different BNS units
by CGI Trade360 application, we are designing and developing the iWay process flows which will transform and
transfer the data between BNS units and CGI Trade 360 applications.
