These needs are important as they will ensure the individual has a sense of wellbeing If the physical needs are met then the person will have better health and hopefully live longer If emotional needs are met the person will be happier and enjoy life Social needs mean that they will have friendship in their lives and be more able to cope with life

Support Groups Five support groups who may assist this stage are : Centrelink – if they need financial support Health line – for issues about health Hobby groups Parents without partners – after divorce to have social connections Local community groups they could volunteer for, to meet new people and for emotional health
