GENERAL - IN
Use the preposition “in” when indicating time and a
place in general. For example:
PLACETIME
centuries (the 1800s)
decades (the 80s)
years (1970, 1980)
country (Prague)
city (Cebu City)
neighborhood (Chinatown)

3. Example sentences:
TIME
PLACE
Inflation rate was very high in April and June.
The board of directors has decided that a brand ambassador will be

Use the preposition “on” when indicating a more specific
time and place . For example:
