1. Educational system in Bulgaria

2.  Education in Bulgaria is compulsory
until the age of 16. The school year
consists of two terms, starts on
September 15th and ends in May or
June.

3.  The education system consists of the
following levels:
 preschool education
 primary education
 secondary education
 higher educationPre-school education
includes children between 3 to 6/7 years.

4.  Pre-school education includes children
between 3 to 6/7 years.Visit kindergarten
is not compulsory.

5.  . Basic education includes primary
schools (grades 1-4), secondary
schools / second step in elementary
school (grades 5-8) and secondary
schools (grades 9-12).
 Basic education can be obtained at
state, municipal or private schools. In
addition, at this level, vocational
training is available in accordance with
professional-technical program, after
completion of 6, 7 or 8 class.
