only just begun to tap. I have already

Although I am not new to
Pinterest, i’ve opened an account
solely for educational purposes
and am thrilled with the number

according to their website, “Delicious is a free
service designed to be the best place to save
what you love on the web, whether it’s a
video, picture, product, blog post, article or
music. We then help you remember and find it
later. it’s a great place to develop a rich
network of people who share your interests.”
i’ve found this to be absolutely true. Delicious
has led me to information rich articles about
k-8 technology in the classroom. Some of these

6. Glogster EDU
Glogster EDU is labeled as, “the leading
global education platform for the creative
expression of knowledge and skills in the
classroom and beyond.”
I used Glogster EDU to help develop pins for my
introduction board on Pinterest.

This extremely easy to use platform has
helped me to develop fun, colorful and
creative pins. In the future I plan to use
Glogster EDU in the classroom to create
glogs for my first and second grade students.
7. Evernote and
PowerPoint for
Evernote is software designed
notetaking and archiving. It has been an
excellent tool to keep track of the
accounts, websites and networks that I
have been working with in the past month.
I used Evernote to create my “rough
draft” for my final presentation. in the
future, it will be my primary software
for notetaking.

This course seemed very intimidating to me
at first. It has been many years since I
have taken ANY courses, and my FIRST
experience with online learning. However,
over the past 4 weeks I have discovered
numerous things that I will now apply to
my classroom and PLN. I believe online
learning is a key component to future
education and although I am not yet fully
comfortable with it myself, I plan to
continue my own education in this area, in
order to grow with the changing times and
deliver interesting and current lessons
