What is Fire
Extinguisher?
- A fire extinguisher is an active fire protection device used to extinguish or control small
fires, often in emergency situations.
- It is not intended for use on an out-of-control fire, such as one which has reached the
ceiling, endangers the user, or otherwise requires the expertise of a fire brigade.

History of Fire extinguishers.
The modern dry chemical fire extinguisher was invented by British
Captain George William Manby in 1818.
The 3 gallon of pearl ash (potassium carbonate) is contained
within a copper vessel with compressed air

ammonium phosphate, which comes out as a pale yellow

Do you need a fire extinguisher training?
YES! The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) prohibits employees from using
a portable fire extinguisher unless they’ve been trained to recognize when and how to use it.
Organizations are required to provide this training when employees are first hired and annually
thereafter. Employers are also advised to establish a policy clarifying who is qualified to use fire
extinguishers, the situations in which they can and should be used, and the proper procedures for
use.
Fire safety training helps to protect Lives, Assets and Properties. It ensures everyone
knows how to act safely, reducing the risk of injury or loss of life in the event of a blaze.
Basic fire-fighting techniques can also help to prevent small fires from becoming big
emergencies

Who is REINOLDMAX?
 ReinoldMax aerosol fire extinguishing spray is made in Lithuania, on the year
2012.
 The product is an innovated AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) type which is
used for classes A3, B13-21, C, D, and K5 Fires.
 This product does not require any special training before use.
 According to (EC) No 1272/2008 and (EU) 2017/776, it does NOT meet the
criteria for classification as a dangerous product.
 Certified by MPA Dresden in Germany laboratory. Our
